Options on planned C Section after an Emergency the first time

Looking to hear stories from moms who had to have an emergency c section then a planned on on their second baby.

I have a ton of anxiety around trying to decide what to do this time.

My first birth was pretty traumatic. I went in to be induced at 35 weeks and 6 days due to very bad pre eclampsia that came on suddenly. When the dr on call broke my water that caused a chain of events that made me have to get an emergency c section where I was also put under anesthesia. I was panicked, alone in the OR and being told the had minutes to get my son out of me. I woke up to my husband holding our son.

This time around my current OB said I could try Vbac or do a planned c section. I’m leaning towards a c section this time. I’m nervous to be induced again for obvious reasons and I am not the kind of person who can just go into labor at any random time.

My biggest thing with the c section is idk what to expect since I wasn’t awake. I know what recovery is like but that’s it.

I just want to know if anyone had a good experience with a planner c section. I’m just so nervous and not sure what to do at all.

US watcher watching for the first time and wow!

I’m in like episode 12 and the differences are so funny to see. I also feel like the UK peeps done hold back with arguing with each other and telling someone off. I love it so far! Can’t believe it took me this long to tune in

Books Similar to Blood of Hercules

I just read Blood of Hercules and Bonds of Hercules and while the writing was questionable and hard to power through I really enjoyed the story concept and the spice. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for books similar to these that are not written like a fanfic

Random question

I have been thinking ever since going back to Epic why Peach, Mario and Luigi aren’t face characters like Popeye, Betty Boop, and the Scooby Doo Gang?? I think that would be way better than costume characters. What’s y’all’s thoughts?

I need serious help

My 3 year old never wants to eat. I fix him food he hardly ever eats it. Our go to nuggets and noodles are even starting to fail us. All he ever wants to eat are snacks. When I say no to snacks then you can only imagine the meet down. I just don’t know how to make him eat again. He used to eat fine but lately it’s been awful.

I feel awful since he obviously isn’t getting any nutrition and the judgment from my mom is on another level.

Any tips on how to help us through this phase?

Dealing with food guilt

How do you manage not feeling guilty when you eat something bad for you IR diet?? I try to eat so healthy then I crave sweets bad…and if I eat even just a piece of candy I will beat myself up over it for days. Same with carbs, I ate a sandwich Friday and I am still thinking about how I should t have done that and I should have made “healthy” choices.
