I still, to this day, cannot believe Marvel left money on the table by not making an Iron Man 4
I find it hard to believe that Marvel couldn’t have slid in another solo Iron Man movie before Infinity War. Perhaps the MCU’s most iconic hero, literally synonymous with the MCU as a whole.
I mean it’s just baffling. Marvel was producing well received movies throughout phase 3, and they couldn’t have found a way to slide in another Iron Man movie just for the heck of it? I know RDJ had is roles in Spider-Man, Cap 3, and the Avengers films, but I feel like Iron Man 4 around 2017 would’ve been a slam dunk. Thoughts?
THEORY: Sanji is gonna function similar to a Lunarian
Sanji’s eyebrows won’t flip when he uses ACoC, which means high AP, but lower defenses
Conversely, Sanji can’t use ACoC when in Germa mode, which gives him increased speed and durability.
Instead of a simple speed and defense trade off, it’ll be an AP, speed/defense trade off.
Rewatching the Winter Soldier, and they just name dropped Stephen Strange
How cool is that? I don’t remember that at all during my first couple watches. I don’t know why I’m geeking out over this small detail, but that was really neat.
Universal Creating a More Faithful Book Adaptation is Honestly Preferable to the Live-Action Remakes
Spoilers in case you want to read the books.
I'm not saying that Universal should adapt all 12 books into 12 movies, that would be ridiculous. But I'm sure they could squeeze out a solid 4-5 movies. I know many people on this sub don't really care for the books, but they're honestly very well done. The overall message/theme of the books to be frank, probably exceeds the movies.
I feel like an adaptation that places an importance on the Dragons' sapience would be pretty well received. They're treated more or less like intelligent but beloved family pets, or just straight-up monsters in the films, when the message of the books is literally the complete opposite. IDK but that just never sat right with me. For example. The big bad in the first movie: the Red Death, is pretty much just a monster. In the books, the gigantic Sea-Dragons speak, and can reason. Also Drogo and Grimmel are pretty weaksauce villains. Alvin absolutely clears. Also Stoick dying in the films was pretty disappointing that he never saw his son fully shoulder the responsibilities as Chief.
All-in-all, I hope the books get a proper adaptation. But hey, if Harry Potter is getting a completely different (and hopefully more faithful) adaptation, I'll hold out hope that the books can get one too. I really wish Hiccup talked to the dragons in the films. I could probably go on a rant forever about what they could adapt from the books.
Which generation as a whole is stronger, the Old Gen at their Primes, or the Mid Gen?
New Gen is obviously gonna surpass both, but I believe that the Mid Gen is doomed to never surpass the Old.
If Logia Awakenings are a thing, will characters such as Akainu, Kuzan, and Kizaru eventually be stronger than the Yonko and Mihawk?
reddit.comAre Lasers Duraneg?
If Kizaru’s, Queen’s, and the Pacifista lasers manage to hit a target, will they do damage regardless of that target’s durability? Kizaru’s lasers seemed to visibly hurt Marco during Marineford. Would they have a damaging effect on a Lunarian or Buccaneer?
King the Mildfire and his useless Zoan
Which of King’s Zoan transformation is the most durable? I was under the impression that Ancient Zoans were known for their hardiness and durability.
Before we see how Zoro and Sanji’s matchups go, do we think omen-buffed Sommers and Killingham can defeat King & Queen?
reddit.comWondering if anyone is able to trade away a Poipole
The only reason is because I have a Poipole sitting in Pokémon home, but the game says I can’t move it in unless I’ve registered a Poipole to the dex. Once registered, I would trade your Poipole back immediately.
Can Sanji (on guard, with exoskeleton+regen) survive Ocean’s Sovereignty?
reddit.comSanji Exoskeleton Discussion
I’ve seen a lot of people arguing that Sanji’s exoskeleton is the only thing saving his bacon against Top Tier’s attacks.
Katakuri absolutely punked Ichji (who has an exoskeleton). So unless you’re saying Katakuri > Imu, your rationale is nonsensical. Are you really suggesting that Ichiji could shrug off Imu’s kick?
Gotta say I’m loving the variable pricing. I think $50 is fair, but then again I’ve never played the N64 or DS versions.
Personally, it's not something that would impact my viewing experience, but I have seen quite a bit of people online, as well people I have spoken to in person, who dislike Robert Downey Jr.'s casting as Doctor Doom because he is not Romani. I also know that another reason people don't like the casting because he's already played another MCU character.
For example, the Odyssey's cast is made up of a diverse group of individuals, who may or may not fully resemble the characters that they are playing. Now of course, this probably won't impact how much I'm going to enjoy the movie if it's done well, although there are some mildly questionable casting choices.
