Killing off legacy characters in horror flicks…
We’re all seeing now sequels that are bringing back legacy characters only for some of them to be killed off in the next sequel, so it’s nothing really that new, but naming some obscure ones from horror franchises…

Is Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers really that bad?
I remember first seeing this in the movies when I was 17 and I thought to myself what the fuck is going on?
But, as the years have gone by, I have really appreciated the movie. It has one of the most brutal Myers seen in the series. The kills were amazing. The atmosphere was there. And bringing back a character from the original film other than Loomis was pretty cool too, because I thought Paul Rudd did a great job as a traumatized Tommy.
It’s a little like H3, when it first came out it was hated (and still) but developed into a cult classic. Same for H6.
What do you guys think?

The Shining (1980)
The Shining is a completely terrifying movie with many classic scenes. What do you think is the scariest scene? For me it’s Danny riding his three wheeler, turns the corner and sees the Grady twins in the hall staring at him. I’m getting the chills just writing this 😂

So I just got done watching Scream 7. It wasn’t great, but I wouldn’t call it shitty either. It was mid at best.
I did think that the killer reveal was extremely and stupid and convoluted.
What exactly was the killers motive for going after Sydney and her family? I really don’t get it.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around it and still can’t figure it out other than it was a dumb reveal for sure. 👍
