My birthday was Friday (release day). My 18yr old gave me this birthday card and I just thought it was so absolutely beautiful & it makes me cry & I thought you all would appreciate it. 🩷
I’m estranged from my own parents after suffering a lifetime’s worth of abuse at their hands - like, you guys, it was BAD. So to have this kind of relationship with my own children… it brings me to my knees. 😭
That’s it, that’s the post. It’s been 6mos of absolute fucking hell and I don’t want to be here. What is the actual point of so much suffering? I cannot take it anymore.

Got her 2yrs ago for our 20th wedding anniversary and I still sometimes find myself staring in awe. The half-eternity band was for our 10th. Things have been *really* difficult lately but I don’t take it for granted that sometimes I get to have morning coffee on the patio with my best friend (best friend being my husband, not the ring lol). All I’m saying is… life is all about finding that one special diamond, and, if circumstances allow, person. 🤣
Bought 2 bracelets + 1 necklace from Catbird. They sent me the wrong size of bracelet. I reached out, and it has been literally *weeks* and dozens of back & forth emails and we still have not resolved the situation. They wanted me to return the wrong size & they’d send out the correct size, which is fine. So I’m waiting for the new size to come, and I realize maybe I’ll just purchase the wrong size for myself (these were originally supposed to be graduation gifts for my daughter, but I realized that the wrong size would fit me so maybe I’ll just keep it for myself). I offered to do this and they were like no, you need to send us back the wrong one - oh, and we haven’t yet shipped the correct size because ???reasons. Then she says ok just purchase the correct size on the website and we’ll send it (like, girl, that’s exactly what I suggested?). So I ask for a discount code because pretty sure somewhere on that site they offer 15% off for >2 bracelets (and I will have purchased 3 by the end of this process), PLUS THE FUCKING HEADACHE OF THIS SITUATION. She comes back & says nope. Like fuck you guys. So whatever, I go to purchase the new CORRECT SIZE that they fucked up in the first place, AND IT’S OUT OF STOCK. GREAT.
TLDR: Catbird has some of *THE WORST* customer service I’ve ever experienced. Take your hard earned money & buy from literally anywhere else.
