We just stated going public with www.Protaag.io and have worked really hard to concentrate on consistency, character affinity and background dynamics working all at once in ai chat. We are looking to building this app with the reddit community and want to do better in the space. We aim to solve some problems we all have had with the major players in the space, time limits, memory for a consistent chat and an experience that will leave an impression. Hello everyone i have been working on a chat application for a while now alone and wanted to get some honest feedback on it and constructive criticism. if you are interested let me know and maybe we can bounce ideas off each other to make this little project into a meaningful to the chat community.

if anyone was building an ai chat program would any of you try it?... i know there are some people who build them out themselves but if they were asking for people to get feedback would you give it a shot?

i have been looking around for ai chats that allow long saves. Has anyone experienced a chat that holds memory past 35 messages? usually it seems they forget around this point of the chat session.

Hello everyone, I'm not new to this space, my wife and I enjoy the chats but have constantly run into issues with memory or session limits using Chai, Character AI, Tipsy Chat and Janitor AI... it bugged us a little because we thought the potential is surely there, but then you get hit with the gems situation in one, or need more memory in another. So we started exploring making something of our own, because why not, we both have some coding experience and we love stories in general, I love manga and my wife loves novels. So we got together and actually built something called Protaag (for protagonist but everything else was taken) it's still early and rough around the edges, but it's real and we want to fix this problem.

I'd love to share it with everyone and keep building it up with a community around it. Would any of you be interested in trying out what we've made so far and giving us honest feedback? Let's link up and discuss things you would expect from a ground up program.
