I have an offshore sportsbook/casino account that has been frozen for a little over a year with 700k inside. Basically I did a combination of soccer, tennis, and esports bets and started with a 23k deposit. When I tried to withdraw it went through as it normally would but instead of showing as “transferred”, it was refunded. When I contacted support they said I needed to verify my account again and upload proof of funds. I provided everything they asked, then they accused me of betting on suspicious events that were later investigated and determined to be fixed. None of the bets I placed to my knowledge were fixed and I have been unable to find any news about it online. All I was doing at the time was looking at line movement and following a friends betting advice. Surely if players were rigging games there would be an article or two about it online.

For this specific account they did let me withdraw the deposit amount but I’m not satisfied with that. If anyone has experience with this kind of stuff, let me know. I’ve tried threatening to sue them, social media pressure, nothing seems to work. They make billions in profit every year. Anyone who helps me get this withdrawal will get to keep 10% of it.

I am also wondering if anyone knows how to avoid accounts getting frozen in the future. Every account I run up either gets limited or frozen within a month.

Don’t use offshores people. I’m sure there are people using offshore exchanges too, avoid those! When you win big they always find a way to confiscate. Even licensed casinos seem to be shady, oh you won a $1,000,000 jackpot? The machine malfunctioned! No payout.

They will take all of your deposits, doesn’t matter the amount. As long as you’re losing, they’ll take all your money. If you’re a losing sports bettor, they’ll up your limits. The moment you win big, no matter how you did it, they start delaying withdrawals, freezing funds, or often times in my case, straight up locking me out of my account. These crooks are evil. Their games aren’t even fair! If you’re going to gamble, do it at a real casino. Or if you’re going to gamble online, at least use a regulated site in your jurisdiction so that you’re protected.

If an offshore decides, FOR WHATEVER REASON not to pay you, YOU ARE SCREWED! Good luck suing a site licensed in Curaçao! I’ve had millions confiscated, fortunately I was able to withdraw a decent amount across multiple books over the years. But I got lucky. Things have gotten much worse in recent years. Do not trust these scumbags!

This applies to any form of advantage betting, whether it’s courtsiding, arbing, +EV betting, whatever. Offshore books will gladly take your bets at first. No issues depositing, no issues placing bets, everything feels normal.

It’s all fun and games until you win big. All of a sudden your withdrawals get delayed, funds frozen, support starts asking for documents that don’t make sense, even though you’re already verified. Once you hit that point, it’s over. You can’t convince them to pay you. Doesn’t matter if you found a suspicious or bad line and hammered it. Doesn’t matter if you’re at a live game and the lines are slow to update, doesn’t matter if you got info that a match was fixed. They don’t care how you did it, you’re not getting paid.

The worst part? You don’t have any recourse. Most of these sites are licensed in Curaçao, so if something goes wrong you’re not protected the way you would be with a regulated book. Stick to regulated books people!!!
