For those new here, these are my first pair of Nicks Boots. I work in a very harsh environment, a concrete recycling landfill, where I walk on rubble and concrete chunks for 9+ hours a day. I document my journey giving before and after pics from worked boots to cleaned boots.

Today's post is a light cleaning, no soap or conditioner, just nylon & horsehair brushes, warm water, and a rag. Next time I perform a deep cleaning, I will show all the products used.

I work at a concrete recycling landfill, so this will be the ultimate test of Nicks' durability. I walk on rubble, up and down concrete chunks 9+ hours a day. So far the break-in has been better than anticipated, no pain, just a bit of stiffness when walking up steep inclines.

I will be posting weekly pics of my boots before and after cleaning (with the exception of weekends I'm traveling). Today's post is a before and after of them brand new to 30 hours in. I will post a before and after tomorrow when they get their first cleaning.
