Trying to put together a playlist for when I’m hobbying, and I would love to know if anyone has any recommendations! Seems like CSM is often accompanied by metal and dark synthy stuff, but I’m open to anything.
I wanted to minimize the amount of chaos corruption on these guys, but in retrospect I kinda I had done more to differentiate the combi-weapon boys from standard legionnaires. Still, I am quite pleased! I had a very good time building and painting these sickos.

Purple is current. I wasn’t as thorough as I should have been in stripping the models which has led to some chunky areas on the repaint. Still, I am quite pleased! Also included some first-time painted models.
What have you all found to be the best way of stripping models?
I did this following the tutorial GW did on YouTube. Mostly skipped the edge highlighting as I felt the contrast did a pretty fine job of doing some subtle highlights on its own.
The checkerboard turned out ugly, but I’m quite pleased with it as a starting point for further growth.
My main struggle had to do with the priming. Some areas weren’t fully primed white, and I definitely noticed the difference after putting on the contrast paint. Will be paying more attention to that going forward.
All in all, it was a mildly stressful but extremely fun + gratifying process. Very excited to do more.
If anyone has any advice for making the process more efficient/effective, please let me know!
