help ! my curl is gone
for years of my life I had super short curly hair. I decided to grow it out and start dyeing it brighter colors, and yeah I've bleached it about 4 times total now but it had always maintained (slightly more loose, which I had always assumed was from the weight of my hair) it's curl. A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to cut it all off again and at first it was stick straight, I figured it just needed a couple days and some deep conditioner but it's been over a month and my curl still isn't coming back. Is it just bleach damage maybe ? It makes me a bit sad honestly. I deep condition my hair weekly, and have been trying tresemmé keratin conditioner as my regular conditioner. I scrunch with Aunt Jackie curl custard and air dry (which used to work amazing, now the little curl I get from 30 minutes of scrunching still falls out ). I wear a satin bonnet to bed and have a silk pillow case. any advice is appreciated <3 thank you. I've been using Function of Beauty curly shampoo.
