[HELP] Bought PSVR2 at Launch, Never Used It… Now I JUST Want Skyrim VR on PC – What Do I Do?!

So, I’ve had a PSVR2 since day one and I’ve probably used it like… a couple hours total. Since then it’s just been sitting on a shelf looking pretty (yes, I dust it every single day like a psycho).

My girlfriend even got me the official Sony PC adapter so I can use it with my laptop, but I never set it up. Every time I read about all the settings, drivers, and steps, I just give up before I even start.

My dream is super simple: use my PSVR2 on PC to play Skyrim VR on Steam. I bought Skyrim VR years ago on sale and it’s been rotting in my library ever since. It’s time to actually shout “Fus Ro Dah” in VR.

My laptop specs:

– i9‑11900H

– RTX 3070

– 32 GB RAM

Can someone explain this to me like I’m five: how do I get PSVR2 working with SteamVR (especially Skyrim VR)?

I’m looking for:

– Super basic step‑by‑step with the Sony adapter

– What software/drivers I really need

– Common issues to avoid (tracking, motion sickness, performance, etc.)

– Any suggested settings for this kind of hardware

I’ve been procrastinating on this for way too long, so I’d seriously appreciate a no‑bullshit, beginner‑friendly walkthrough. Thanks in advance!

Should I return my Viture Beast? Edge blur hurts my main use case (virtual desktop), I've barely used them, and the return window closes July 15

Looking for honest input from people who've had these longer than I have, because I need to decide fast: I bought the Beast on Amazon for €599 and my return window closes on July 15.

Why I bought them: mainly to virtually extend my laptop's desktop for work. Secondary uses: gaming on my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme and media on my phone.

The good: overall I'm satisfied with what they do, so this isn't a "they suck" post. The experience is genuinely cool.

The bad: for €599 I honestly expected more, both in image quality and materials. The real dealbreaker is the prism lens: text sharpness at the edges of the image takes a serious hit, and that's exactly what matters for a virtual desktop / productivity setup. So my primary use case is the one that suffers the most.

The usage reality check: since June 30 I've used them exactly twice, once when they arrived (first try + firmware update) and once on a train to watch a couple of Netflix episodes. To be fair, I've been on a beach vacation and I'm only back home on July 10, so it hasn't been the ideal testing period, and I'll have a few days to test them properly at home before the deadline. Still, two uses in ten days with a brand new gadget doesn't feel like a great sign.

€599 is serious money for me (basically a month's mortgage payment), and I genuinely can't tell if I'd use them enough to justify keeping them.

Questions for long-term owners:

  1. Edge blur with text: did you get used to it over time, or find settings/positioning that genuinely help for productivity?

2.Did your usage grow after the first weeks, or drop off?

  1. If a virtual monitor was your main goal too: are you happy you kept them, or would you have returned them / waited for the next gen?

Be brutally honest, I'd rather return them now than regret it in August. Thanks in advance!

[Q10 S5+] Firmware 03.11.24 broke my robot – now drives in zigzag instead of straight lines

Hi everyone,

After the latest firmware update (03.11.24), my Roborock Q10 S5+ started behaving very strangely: it can no longer drive straight and constantly swerves left and right, as if one wheel is completely out of sync with the other.

I've already tried a factory reset twice with no improvement whatsoever. The issue appeared immediately after the update and wasn't present before.

To make things worse, while testing a new mapping session it started repeatedly and violently crashing into furniture, hitting the same spots over and over with no sign of stopping. It was like the obstacle detection had completely stopped working alongside the navigation.

What makes this especially frustrating is that I've taken great care of this robot since day one: only original Roborock spare parts, only official Roborock cleaning solution, regular maintenance. I bought it during the Christmas holidays and it's been barely five months. A device treated this well shouldn't be showing hardware-like symptoms caused by a firmware update.

I find it completely unacceptable that an OTA update can introduce this kind of regression. What was supposed to be an improvement has essentially made the robot unusable. I've already requested a full refund through Amazon.it, because I simply cannot wait around for a firmware fix that may never even come. I paid €229 on sale for a brand new unit and I'm not going to let a botched firmware update turn it into an expensive paperweight.

Has anyone else experienced this after updating to 03.11.24? Any fix other than a factory reset? Is Roborock support actually helpful in cases like this?

Thanks

Ultimate Founder - LG C5 native app or PC streaming for GeForce Now?

Been rocking my LG C5 for a bit and wondering if I'm doing GeForce Now right. Should I just use the app that's already on the TV or would it be better to connect my Windows PC and stream through that?

Anyone here used both? What's the real difference? Worried about lag mostly.

Thanks in advance!
