New coax cable buried - related to high split?

My parents noticed this new "communications cable" in their yard. currently they (and the neighborhood) is exclusively covered by spectrum. wondering if it's related to high split upgrades or something else?

at first i thought it was fiber but was corrected it is indeed coax

Worse latency with 5G SA turned on compared to NSA?

I have 5G sa on old unlimited elite plan - I've been testing SA vs NSA performance on iPhone 17 PM and consitnely seeing worse latency and ping when standalone is turned on. Speeds are similar

Is this anyone else's experience? Seems odd

Salvage rebuilt r1s experience?

Looking at a 2023 r1s quad with 50k miles that had a rear end hit. it was fixed but now salvage title. I get warranty is void even if rivian has certified it - but he's offering $35K.

at this price is it worth it? anyone have a rivian salvage with no problems or strongly advise against it?

My current car is a salvage i've had for a while but i know EVs are a different beast

Matter devices on homebridge 2.0 always updating or no response?

I recognize matter is beta but I must be doing something wrong here...

I've added two separate plugins for vacuums, setup and config'd as child bridges with matter enabled on those bridges but they maybe work 10% of the time. that is the other 90% of the time when opening homekit they show updating....and then eventually not responding. i have 25 other homebridge devices that work fine. its just these two devices when using matter.

logs don't show anything abnormal - did i misconfigure something?

running latest versions of homebridge, my roomba and eufy plugins and 26.5 https://i.imgur.com/cfbzncV.jpeg
