Anyone know where I can get some rails for the Crosstrek base model? I love the look of the raised side bars and cross bars, but it sounds like maybe the base isn’t comparable with them. Is my only option to buy the raised cross bars from Subaru? They are $350 and I don’t love the look of them. An aftermarket part would be nice as well.
Hello! The base model of the ‘24 Crosstrek doesn’t come with side rails anymore. I would love to put some on but I’m having a hard time finding them. I can find a lot of Crosstrek cross bars, but not the side bars. Any leads?

I have a ‘24 Crosstrek with 24k miles. A couple of months ago I got a nail in a tire that could not be repaired. Discount tire replaced both of the back tires. At the time the front tires were still at 6/32. They still look pretty good and are measuring at 6/32.
Yesterday I went to get an oil change at the dealership and they asked if someone warned be about the danger of having tires at different tread levels on a Subaru. I said they had not. He recommended that I switch out the front two as well because of issues it can cause with the transmission.
I’ve read mixed reviews about this on other forums. Some people are saying it doesn’t matter and others are saying it can cause long term problems. Any thoughts on what I should do? Thank you!
