Hey,

I see people say that this game is easy but I must be an absolute dunce because I find this game kind of challenging even on normal. Maybe my brain just isn't wired for this but I do like this genre. So if there are any general tips I'd be happy to hear them. Especially because I often get overwhelmed by choice when it comes to spells and, sometimes, what to choose leveling up. If you have any rules of thumb I'd be grateful. Also one specific question: Should I horde gear upgrade materials for end game stuff or use them as I go?

Question in the title. I'm more curious than anything. From what I gather Halo 4 takes place over 5 days. That includes Infinity getting from Requiem back to Earth. To put into perspective here are some over time tables in Halo.
The Pillar of Autumn leaves Reach on 30th August and arrives at Installation 04 on 19th September.
In Amber Clad and Regret's ship leave earth on the 20th October and arrive at Installation 05 on 2nd of November. Hitching a ride with the Covenant's much faster slipspace technology.
And lastly using the Forerunner portal the Elite fleet and Forward unto Dawn leave earth on 17th November and arrive on 11th December.

Even assuming that the Infinity has upgraded slipspace technology the fact it takes maybe couple of days to travel from Requiem to Earth must indicate that they're practically next door to each other, right? Again, this is curiosity not a plot hole. I imagine through a telescope a closed shield world probably looks identical to any other barren rock and so it was glossed over by observers.

Im getting an E reader and thinking of jumping back into Halo books. As a kid I read the first bunch upto Ghosts of Onyx but haven't read any since then. So looking for where to start up again.

And I dont know how controversial what counts as a main series book is. But for example I consider Contact Harvest as a side story. Im looking mostly for books that advance the main plot. Also I intend to read the Forerunner trilogy.

Budget: £500 max,preferably much lower
Country: United Kingdom
Use Case: Low end gaming eg: Baldurs gate enhanced edition, Pillars of Eternity
Preferred Specs: 8GB ram, 500gb storage
Notes: Need something cheap I can play on when main computer (medium to high end) is unavliable or when im on holiday etc. also able to basic computer stuff.

Hey,

I'm a bit of noob and still learning the mechanics, let alone strategies, but one thing I've seen is people splitting units up into single unit stacks. Particularly in the early game. Why is this? And do you keep doing this into the end game or keep large stacks of elite units?
