I (childfree in my 30’s) was at my moms over the weekend to do something for her birthday and I have my (12 year old) niece calling and texting asking me to come pick her up. She would have no idea I was in area for the weekend if my sister hadn’t told her. Eventually my sister drops her off.

My niece is blowing her nose almost constantly saying she has “allergies“ then she later admits she had a strep test done. So obviously they felt she was sick if they took her to a doctor for a strep test! Her mom then picks her up early because “her allergies are so bad.”

Well guess who has been sick all week so far? It wasn’t allergies, it was a URI and now I have the joy of dealing with it. I’m extra pissed because I work with medically fragile children. Thanks Sis for the unnecessary exposure to your child’s illness!

It’s driving me crazy.

What the hell is black/white thinking? I think of the colors black and white in my head. I’m guessing it means things are either this way or that way with no in between? I am like that but I don’t know to what extent an autistic person would be like that.

Literal thinking, again how do you know if you are a literal thinker? Sure I take things literally, when someone says “are you good at pattern recognition?” I think of a patterns on a rug. But I don’t take every single thing literally in my life. I don’t know how id venture out into the social world at all if I did.

Im diagnosed with autism. I have no idea if that’s why I feel the need to break down words and meanings to the bare bones but I do. And then with this logic I convince myself I am not actually autistic. Does anyone else have this issue?

I hope this post doesn’t sound too odd but…I’m just wondering if anyone else “day dreams” about their special interest? I will pace back and forth while thinking about my interest while building a world and a role for myself within that world. I’ve literally told no one I do this and am little nervous about posting this but, I need to know if I’m alone here 😂

If your face is ugly, you're screwed

You can lose weight, get in shape, try to get a flattering haircut, but your face is still ugly. I see so many people "glow up" simply from losing weight. They always had good looking features, those features were just covered up. If you're already skinny, but ugly, there is literally no fucking hope. You're simply and plainly ugly and that's it.

People ALWAYS look at the face first. Men want a pretty face, and they will take the pretty chubby girl, over the skinny horse faced woman. Genetics can royally screw people over. That shit just isn't fair.
