I’m not the only one who remembers the Kinect for the Xbox 360 am I?

I remember playing these game like these a lot on my family’s Xbox 360 when I was like 5-9 years old at the time. I thought it was really fun and engaging to play video games that required full body movement. I remember playing Kinect Rush the most out of all of them while I never really played Nickelodeon Dance 2.

Did you ever play any games on this?

Does anyone remember ToonsTV?

I remember playing Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 on me and my brother’s iPad when we were really young, and there was this entertainment platform within the game that has a bunch of cartoons that you could watch.

You could see some Angry Birds animated shorts as well as some other cartoons. Most of them were from this studio from France. Like Oggy and the Cockroaches, Space Goofs, The Daltons, Zig and Sharko and Qumi Qumi.

I remember watching them a lot with my brother and being pretty fond of them. Do you remember having this on Angry Birds.

What’s a joke in SpongeBob you didn’t understand as a kid but understand now

I had no idea what they meant by “lashes” until I learned what they are in my U.S history class.

Why is everyone calling the 2023 and 2024 seasons “reboots?”

Reboots in TV shows and movies are when the series throws away almost all continuity to retell the same story with the same characters from the beginning. To attract newer and younger fans.

The 2023 and 2024 seasons don’t do that, the continuity is still there and it’s a continuation of the series. Since it’s a continuation it technically a sequel. If it were a reboot we would just have the first season again but with a different tone or visual style.

So I don’t know why everyone is saying reboot to describe the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

How did you get into the Total Drama series?

Here’s how I got into it:

When I was really young me and my brother started to watch Battle For Dream Island, a YouTube series inspired by Survivor and Total Drama, on our iPad. And we started to get obsessed with it, we really liked the premise, characters and how they were all objects with limbs and faces. We used to quote the show a lot, and we really started to get into the whole ”Object Show“ community.

Not that many years later I had my first exposure to Total Drama when its spinoff, The Ridonculous Race, made its debut in 2015-2016. I watched it with my brother when it first came out and I loved it because it reminded me a lot of BFDI despite having a different format. I remember being so happy when the Ice Dancers finally ran out of luck and was overjoyed when I saw the Surfer Dudes win the race. Nowadays when I mention to my brother that he used to watch it with me he would deny it because he doesn’t remember.

Then I started to play this game on Roblox based on Survivor, the real life show that Total Drama is a parody of, and I really liked that too. I played it with my brother a lot. When my mom told me about the real Survivor l decided to watch that too, but because of my lower attention span at the time I didn‘t really finish a season.

Later I finally started to see bits and pieces of the actual mainline series when they were airing reruns of Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action on Cartoon Network. I don’t remember my reactions to it at the time but I did know that it had a connection to The Ridonculous Race.

Years later when I was a tween, I saw that the entire series from Island to the Ridonculous Race was on Netflix. Since it was what inspired BFDI, I thought; ehhhh… Why not? And so I binged watched the entire series all by myself, from Total Drama Island to The Ridonculous Race.

And that’s how I got into the show.

How did you get into Total Drama? I would love to see your reasons in the comments below.

Do you know what would gonna hard?

Chris McLean singing a parody of Caine’s song “The One Who’s Running the Show” from The Amazing Digital Circus.

Because it’s the kind of song that he would sing.

Typo: “gonna” in the title was supposed to be “go kinda” as in “go kinda hard.”
