I couldn’t resist not posting about this again. Also, an apology.
How for do you think they’ll go with the whole “this obvious mistake made by the image generator is actually a stylistic choice”?
No one genuinely believes a cigarette stabbing through an index and middle finger is a stylistic choice. You gotta cut the shit.
And since I’m banned from the sub, I’ll address people’s criticisms here:
I do regret using the words mentally impaired. It’s too harsh. What I was trying to say was that the chronic use of AI changes the brain’s dopamine receptors. It creates a need for constant stimulus, so a generated image with blatant mistakes is “good enough” because it fills brain’s need for dopamine. It’s similar to the effects social media has, and I would not call that mental impairment. I apologize.
No, I’m not karma farming. I genuinely thought the original post would get 100 upvotes top. Also, if anything, both of these subs are karma farming subs. Both generally suppress viewpoints contrary to either the pro-ai or anti-ai agenda. All you have to do is make a post pointing in the general vicinity of their sub’s topic, and you’re guaranteed upvotes.
Yes, my critiques of the image are my opinion. However, that was done to illustrate how the ai does not properly convey human emotion.
No, I am not an artist. I’m shit at art. You do not have to be an artist to know, in this instance, a cigarette phasing through fingers is not a stylistic choice, and that humans have chins.
