To not reach behind my monitor anymore AGAIN

A few month ago I already postet about my "hub"/Housing for various ports of my monitor.

Now, I upgraded it, so the usb dongles are flat with the housing. They got each an adapter to be able to easily pull out. I've added a headphone jack as well as a third port via a splitter.

This time it is build with tinkerCAD, the label itself is made with affinity

New Housing for the GameCube Controller Adapter

So, I did not liked the official Controller Adapter for Wii U and Switch (1+2) so I designed a new Housing that goes on top of the original.

I don't know if I can post the makerworld ID, as it would be kinda self promoting

So I was tired of reaching behind my monitor. For some years I ha an extension cable under my riser but nothing looks cleaner than a 3d printed housing.

As my monitor has a built in kvm I can simply plug in my laptop or steam via USB c and can use the same peripherals as my PC does.

I have some more ideas like an headphone jack, embedded USB A ports so my dongles do not stick out. Or a USB switch with an USB output for devices that are not compatible with USB c
