Is now a good time to get into the game?

I started about a year ago and happened to start right as the big new player boost event (mokoko?) was ending. Is there an equivalent event now to boost new characters or new players, or when will it be returning?

Suggestions for luminary reroll

Since mercs seem to be pretty weak, is there any other reliquarian builds I can respec to? Any casters in particular.

Or, also considering making an elementalist build thats capable of bossing if possible. Elementalist because its versatile and can respec later if I want to

Possible companion bug where you get oneshot constantly

https://pobb.in/dPB8MBaKdQKM

For some reason, when i have all my companions out, I get oneshot no matter what. The moment i turn them off, I'm taking normal damage. I'm using sylvan's effigy and forgotten warden as the build enabling uniques, which may be causing the bug. As you see in the video, with companions, oneshot in a T1 map. Without, i take damage as normal. Any help?

Anyone else feel like spear skills miss the fantasy of melee/range hybird?

The pitch of the huntress sounded really cool, but in practice I feel like the skills are dissapointing. It was supposed to be a high mobility class that dips in and out, comboing melee with ranged.

Most of the skills dont feel synergistic with each other like how some other classes have good synergies. Especially between ranged / melee. And then by endgame, it seems that the best spear builds tend to purely lean into one direction, typically ranged. I would have liked to see reasons for me to engage in both ranges, as opposed to simply spamming ranged twister forever.

Maybe frenzy charges should also be available on completing melee skill conditions? That would give an actual incentive to use melee with ranged. What do you guys think
