I’m getting the notification that I have a software update for Plug & Charge, but when I try to install it, it always tells me that it can be completed as soon as the vehicle has been parked and the technical conditions have been fulfilled. The continue button is only ever grayed out. What in the world are these technical conditions that need to be fulfilled?

Sorry if this has been discussed already. I saw a couple of posts about the update but didn’t see anything that addressed this directly.

It's up on Walmart, Amazon, and eBay. All same 3rd party seller, average around $50-$55. Walmart seems cheapest. Go get it! Appears to be about 50 copies available. I got one from this seller last time they had some stock so they're definitely legit.

Life long fan, been there from the start, lived every era including watching the debut album blow up into the blockbuster it became. Devoured every era to the fullest extent.

I’ve listened to Confessions II so much in the past week and a half, I decided to take a break and dig back and re-listen to some stuff I loved but hadn’t actually spent any time with in years.

I listened to Music front to back first, and was like “wow I don’t think I fully appreciated at the time how experimental and how weird and not-traditional and musically envelope pushing a lot of it was.” Of course we all know how amazingly well it was received, was reviewed, sold etc but I feel like, listening to it now I’m like “wow she really took some chances on this record.” And fuck I forgot how amazing it is.

But that’s not even the point of this post. I decided the next logical step was to revisit American Life. I was never an AL hater, quite the opposite actually. Just hadn’t listened to it front to back in years.

Damn. I will stand 10 toes down that this record deserves way more respect than it gets. The only thing to me that keeps it from being “one of her best” is how much BETTER her other classics are (ROL, COADF, LAP, Erotica). It was almost like listening with fresh ears even though I could still sing along to every track.

I mean “Intervention,” “X-Static Process,” “Easy Ride,” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Honestly there isn’t a skip on this album for me. Even the title track deserved better IMO. I loved it then, love it now.

This album deserved a better reception, and under better circumstances I think it would have gotten it. I’m happy at least knowing from this sub that I’m not alone here.

Thats all. I was just so taken with my listen in the car today I needed to come here and give it some love.

I think - for me anyway - seeing the absolutely INSANE, relentless, exciting, flawless, unparalleled, no-expense-spared rollout Warner did to celebrate the return of their Queen to the fold, it really pulls into focus how much Interscope seemed to really NOT either know what to do with her at this stage in her career, or worse, didn’t even care.

I find myself wondering what a C II rollout would have looked like there.

Just me? Am I completely off base? I’m so happy she’s back home where it all started. It just all feels so…….right.

I've had this is my wish list on Amazon for a while and was just skimming my list and saw it in stock. I have no idea how reliable this is or if this vendor can actually deliver the goods, but I gave it a shot. I guess it's also possible that this is a coming repress that people have been saying was eventually coming. But I know a lot of people want this so I'm posting here....

For anyone interested, all but Light Years are up at the moment, but they are pretty pricey. They're currently each $38.99, which I'm assuming is an import price of some sort? Light Years I bet will be minimum $50....

For my money, in the states, Rough Trade bundle is still your best bet but YMMV. I got all 4, shipped, for about $125, then I got the blue X from her store (I'd have considered getting the bundle from her store but you can't ever seem to catch all titles in stock at once). I'll probably just keep the blue X sealed since I'll have the standard black version to play....

I’m seeing the amazing Raye here in LA in mid May and am definitely planning to buy some merch. Anyone know where I can see what the options (t-shirts mainly) are?

I checked her US website but what’s available on there definitely doesn’t seem like it’s current. Anyone know where I can see what’s gonna be available at the merch stands?
