Now driveable between Galashiels and Tweedbank!

Now driveable between Galashiels and Tweedbank!
Line and scenery completed half way to Galashiels, nicely on schedule
Borders Railway line coming soon to TSC
Hello,
Having a little confusion with this signal in the editor. I believe the signal is from Fife Circle (I think it's called 2A TH S or similar), but it's a 2 aspect theatre with shunt aspect.
This signal appears before a station with two platforms. I'd simply like it to display 'Green, 1, no shunt lights lit' for the straight ahead Platform. And, 'Green, 2, Shunt lights showing diverging left route' for Platform 2 on the left hand side.
Link 0 is working correctly and dangers the signal when the train passes. But the rest is completely wrong, there's never a shunt aspect showing, and I can only get either 1 or 2 to show on the top, no matter what platform I route into.
I set up link 1 for the straight ahead platform and link 2 for the leftwards one. Are my links wrong? I also assigned '1' and '2' respectively in 'character' field. In trial and error I also swapped links one and two and left character field blank, but no difference it seems.
Any ideas?
I can't believe DTG didn't release this beautiful railway yet, so I'm making it myself. The whole route is beyond the scope of my ability, but this is the best section of the line anyway. Will be released on Steam workshop in three parts: An Alpha demo (coming, I hope around next weekend) running from Tweedbank to Galashiels. Then a full provisional Beta extending the line to Stow, and including the passing loop you enter on approach into Gala. Once bugs/suggestions are ironed out it would get the full release.
Currently the line is functional from Tweedbank - Gala with SRTM terrain data imported, & track and platforms laid down. Next is to complete the track infrastructure and add scenery.
I may need to use quite alot of DLC's, but most of these will be common, such as E-G, Fife Circle and the West Highland Lines.
Look out on 22nd August on the workshop :)
Edinburgh - Waverley (around 2015) and we will pass a Flying Scotsman railtour over the bridges. *This is a free stream, not monetized in any way
I find playing train sim just on my own kinda boring, I like virtual passengers. Anyone here like to watch my live broadcasts on steam? I could announce when they are happening...
Hello, new to this sub.
I have the following specs: RTX 2080, Ryzen 5 5600x, 32gb RAM which meets recommended requirements BUT I'm guessing those haven't really been updated properly since earlier versions of the game.
Currently I like to run TSW2 in 1440p and then switch screen percentage to 50% so that it renders around 1080p, then limit to 30fps to prevent stutters (also feels good for motion).
Will I be able to get a stable 30fps in TSW6?
Just a thought, but wasn't it extremely dangerous for Nacho to brutally insult the cartel and admit the plot on Hector's life? Well, not anymore for Nacho, but for his father, who already openly made himself an enemy by insulting Hector as well and by knowing too much. Surely knowing how bloodthirsty the Salamanca's are, even Gus and Mike's protection wouldn't be enough if push came to shove. Because wasn't the whole point of Nacho taking the fall to ensure Gus's crew would repay by protecting his father from the cartel? This makes no sense to me, because unless Gus were to admit the secret collusion with Nacho, there is no logical reason to try to sway the cartel away from Nacho's Dad. So it seems to me like his actions potentially endangered the purpose of the whole plan, and I don't really get the plan in the first place.
Is it any good? If I don't have Discord can I join with a nickname/alias?
The 737 gives automated Vspeeds for takeoff and a trim value based on flaps, TOW and CG. Normally I find these to work fine, but when I have a heavier plane it often feels pretty 'off', and sluggish, ie when I pull back the yoke I can't get much attitude on the nose, feels like I would need more speed or power. Sometimes the SimBrief performance calculator can work better. But I'm curious, is the value the 737 puts out 'supposed' to work fine, or would pilots be expected to use external software / EFB?
Simbrief - I've noticed that recently, if my SimBrief plan has a SID and STAR, all of those waypoints get dumped right into the main route, instead of using the DEP ARR function. I can always scrub the SID/STAR off the flight plan and then enter it manually with DEP ARR, but I seem to remember it should just automatically select these in DEP ARR page so that you can adjust it later, is this some setting messed up in my simbrief? This was confusing at first because when I'd go and select departure route, I would essentially get a duplicate leg and took ages to work out why my plane was backtracking.
Cheers!
Hello, I would really appreciate some help, this is driving me nuts. I get easily confused when trying to work out the basic root chord in songs, and there is no sheet music or transcription available. I'm trying to transcribe this song for guitar and having MASSIVE struggles. But in particular it's from 0:23 - 0:26. I think it starts with some voicing of Abm7, with addition of high root note, and it's the very next chord that confuses me most. It 'seems' easy enough but I can't make it sound right, so I'd like to know the exact chords being played. I'm also unsure if this is one guitarist or a lead + backup guitar, making it all the more confusing.
I would greatly appreciate any input on this, it's making me want to smash up my guitar : P
Thank you!
Flight from Thessaloniki to Trabzon in the A319, planted it right on the TDZ
Even though I am a modern X plane user, I occasionally load up flight sim X with minimal mods/plugins, and I'm convinced it's way too easy just to remember this game for it's issues such as the performance problems, OOM error etc. I have so much fun doing flights with it still, it feels seamless and I get locked in thinking about the flying instead of thinking about graphics. The handling with addon planes is also brilliant.
What still grabs me about this sim is just how good it was at the time, and maybe even now- MS crammed in as many features as they could to give you a complete experience from gate to gate. Don't know how to fly? Literally learn real world basics both at ground school and in the air with a real world flight instructor. The world felt completely alive - want to simulate weather? Literally have as many cloud, wind, turbx or visibility layers as you want, even being able to adjust weather for every specific weather station, and the virtual ATC & traffic will populate around you. Snow and rain that affected surfaces and textures, not to mention pitot icing. The ATC was VFR and IFR ready with realistic clearances and so many different options and customisations, even being able to give you an RNAV approach. Anxious to tell you about nearby traffic, just like real world controllers. Moving jetways, airport vehicles... and even a built in flight and fuel planner that the ATC can use. Even though the garmin GPS followed an automated routing based on a loaded FLPN, in particular contexts, it was largely accurate and capable of various adjustments, DTO'S and holds. The glass cockpit GA's were particularly good as well. Even though the included airbus was pretty poor, they included a fly by wire plane. If you didn't want to use terminal charts, you could switch on progressive taxi, which would give you breadcrumbs to each next taxi position. It's easy to forget that they even included missions that had you following real approaches with Jeppesen charts. As for modern day use, I can pretty much look up any airport or area I want to fly into on flyawaysimulation, and there will be a free ortho or airport, not to mention world of traffic if you want local carriers (this is true for modern sims too). Speaking of which the game included a scenery manager that made it a breeze to install new airports. And of course, it has multiplayer. There is one thing I nearly forgot which is that on multiplayer, you can sit in the tower and be a controller for every airport in the game, with a realistic radar screen and functions - this kind of thing is underrated. The point is, without this game as a starting point, I would never have gotten into flight simming or learned much...

Over Madrid in the Zibo, XP11 still looking quite nice
TR:A was an Sky TV: Sky Gamestar exclusive game that you could pay to play. It was a 2D platformer with some music from the original games. Used to love this game when I was a kid. Apparently you can still play this game in a web browser, see TheGameBreakersUK youtube channel for more info :)
