Did anyone go to that K-pop circus thing in oroville?

I’ve been getting these AI ads for it non stop for the past week and it shows no real pictures of it or past events. It looked like it was gonna be janky as hell and I had no intention of going but I’m definitely curious if it was as lame as I assume it was.

Reclassing to 19K, what should I expect and how can I make the most out of it?

33 year old E-5 here, reclassing and going from reserves to active. Of the MOS’s that were available 19K stuck out to me more, from what I’ve read from other posts there’s a crap ton of maintenance that would make up most of my day to day. I don’t really have an issue with that, I figure any combat MOS spends most of their time doing layouts, inventory, and maintenance when they’re not in the field or training. what I want to know more is what should know about and prepare for when making the switch, especially coming in as an NCO with no knowledge of the job? Any schools or courses I can take advantage of that will set me up in the future? How can I make the most of it professionally or otherwise?

Reclass advice

Hey y’all, 11B E5 here, I’m reclassing and looking for advice from people with experience in the MOS. I have a few available to me but the 2 that peak my interest are 37F and 19K. I’m hoping to get some advice and insight about the day to day, quality of life, and general career progression as I’m having a bit of a hard time deciding what I want to do. I know I don’t want to be infantry anymore but I kind of wanna stay combat arms. on the other hand psyops sounds like a cool guy job but from what I hear a lot of it is computer work doing essentially marketing which sounds less sexy and frankly I really don’t like computer work. I also hear that psyops gets to go to cool schools and occasionally do exciting things so I figure the truth has to be somewhere in the middle.I already have a DLTP for Spanish scored at 3/3, it’s expired but I have it on record, don’t know if it helps anything, I also have my bachelors degree and plan to commission when able. I want to make the most of whatever opportunities I may have available but I feel like there’s just a lot I don’t know and don’t know to ask.

Anyone have any experience with class A cdl programs in the area?

I’ve been working towards getting my class A but I’ve been wary of which schools go to since I really need it to lead to a job soon. Im wondering if anyone has any recommendations or advice for picking something in or near Chico since I’m also working.

E-bike or motorcycle for commuting

Planning to move to the area next year and I’m hoping to get some commuting advice from locals. I have a pickup truck as a daily driver but gas has gotten a lot more expensive so I’ve been mulling over getting something more fuel efficient. I need the truck for work so getting rid of it isn’t really an option. My plan was to either get an E-bike with a long range or a used motorcycle with good gas mileage and use them for commuting to work, appointments, nearby errands, and reserve my truck for longer distance trips and moving things for my family. The pros and cons that come to my mind are that an e-bike just needs to be charged and can be stored in an apartment but has no access to the freeway so my commuting distance is more limited. A motorcycle has freeway access and I can even commute out of the city but I’ll be more limited on parking and storage as well as having to pay for gas and insurance on it. I like the idea of a motorcycle being able to commute longer distances, take day trips out of town and save on gas but I’d like some input from anyone that’s done motorcycle or e-bike commuting in the area or ideally both.

Edit: Got a lot of good advice from people in the comments, after running the numbers I’m of the mind that the $100 bucks I’d save in gas isn’t worth the extra management of another vehicle and it certainly isn’t worth the safety risk as I’m a complete novice to motorcycles. Thanks again for the advice.

Advice on preparing for DLI for learning a 3rd language

Enlisted here, I’m reclassing in the reserves and am interested in DLI for a 3rd language. I’m a heritage Spanish speaker and have a 3/3 in it so DLI is currently voluntary for me regarding my reclass. Korean is a language I’m interested in but I heard it’s a very demanding course, is there anything I can do to prepare? I’m not a strong studier and I don’t really expect to learn Korean a year ahead of the course but realistically what could I do to help prepare within about a years time?

Would you want to see sequel games based off other trades?

Was playing the other night with some friends and we were talking about how we really like the tactical blue collar aesthetic and vibe of the game. Half of us are prior military and ended up in the trades after so we really jive with the game and talked about how cool it would be to see sequels expand the game universe. Something like goblin arborists/lumberjacks working in (god forbid) elven managed forest planets, or salvage guys and underwater welders on ocean planets fighting Lovecraftian creatures while repairing subs with more of a naval combat focus. I know there‘s very little chance of it actually happening but if there were expansions or sequels what would you want to see done or added?
