I'm so proud! Back from a 2 week vacation

Been on Wegovy since March, have lost around 14 kg (31 lbs). Went on a family vacation for 2 weeks and didn't get the prescription filled on time so I went for about 10 days without any shot at all. Some places did not have any healthy options, and I had to have burgers a few times. I was super careful and tried to eat healthy whenever I could so the bad times would be OK. I just got back today and.... drumroll please... I lost just over 1 kg! It's less than I generally lose over 2 weeks (I stayed on the 1 since it works well for me) but not gaining weight when most of the trip i had no Wegovy left in my system was good in and of itself, but I even lost. Most days I hit maybe 8000 steps so it isn't that we walked so much that it canceled it out. So happy!!!

What do you use instead of Real Debrid?

I have been using Real Debrid for a long time, and it worked perfectly, but now I can't stream any movies anymore with the changes they have made. We are currently using Fen (whatever the newest version is) but have no problem using a different add-on. Clearly, we have no problem paying for the service, as we paid for Real Debrid. Which do you recommend? Thanks!

Traveling with teens

We have 3 teens (nobody says, let's have 3 teenagers!) and had typically always gotten on large room or connecting rooms, but it's bcoming harder because couches are no longer comfortable for them, being long and all. From what ages did you have two separate non-connecting rooms? We know that they may be on a separate floor from us. At this ppoint, their phones come on the trips with us (but they are ony on them at hotels or on long rides 1 hour long and above). They have several mother tongues including English so communicating with hotel staff isn't problematic. We traven in Europe and Asia (Thailad, Japan, Singapore, etc.) Thanks.

Tracking calories, protein, water, etc.

I've been on Wegovy for just over 3 months nad have lost 13 kg (28.5 lbs). I have not been tracking my intake at all, though i have been more careful with what I eat and trying to eat more protein. How do you calculate how much of each thing you need to begin with? How do you know how many calories are good?

Wegovy in Thailand?

I have flown on 2 vacations since starting Wegovy, but I didn't have to travel with it because I happened to travel after one jab and before the next. But we are going to be going to Thailand for a few weeks so this will be my first time flying with it. We will be going through Barcelona and Helsinki. I already know that Wegovy is allowed in Thailand we are going and doesn't need special permission or anything.

Does anyone know if I am going to need to take the meds out of my carry-on when going through security in Pattaya and Chiang Mai? I ask because my teens do not know I am on the jab and I am not interested in them knowing about it at the moment. I can't go separately from them since it will be very odd, as we travel several times a year and I haven't gone separately from them.

I don't want to take a 3-week break, I am afraid I will have to start over. So for those of you who have traveled through Europe, from your experience in those two cities, have you had to take out your meds at security? (I know I need to take an ice pack, of course, I"m not talking about any part of the process other than going through security.) We will also have an internal flight in Thailand so if anyone knows abotu that, that would also be great. Thanks in advance.

A different vacation

I actually wrote this in a comment that is buried on another post. I started at 96 kg and am now 13 kg down, at 83, in just over 3 months. I stopped increasting at 1 mg for now becuase during my first 4 weeks I lost nearly 4 kg (8.5 lbs) and it felt very rapid, and I'd like to avoid Ozempic face LOL. My doc agreed that it's working very well at this dose so i will stay on it for now, and will only increase once I have plateaued.

Anyway, the reason I'm writing this post is because even though I am far from my goal weight of 74 kg (which is the top of the non-overweight range for my height of 1.74), I found that I am vacation differently. I have teenagers, and if you go back over the past 15 years, you can see that I am always hiding behind my kids in vacation photos. I knew I did this, it was on purpose.

What I didn't know is that other peolpe noticed as well. I am currently in Portugal and for the first time in the longest time,I'm not hiding behind one of my kids. i sent a few photos to a friend, and her first comment was, "You aren't hiding behind your kids and you look great!"

I don't look great yet, but I defiitely look a lot better. She's been on Mounjaro for around 10 months now and has lost 40 kg and she's the one who really inspired me to start this journey, but it was amazing to me that she noticed it as well. I do keep looking at my thighs on photos, but I'm not hiding them with a sweater anymore, which is amazing.

Have y'all noticed this as well?
