My boyfriend is joining the usmc in November. I’ve seen so many videos about military men cheating. I trust my boyfriend but in the beginning of our relationship he did cheat and add some girls on Snapchat but I was like 15 I’m 18 now and he’s 20 so I trust him but at the same time you never know what could happen. This is just dream career he’s wanted to do this for a very long time and I don’t wanna sexualize his career and burden him with my worries because he’s already reassured me so many times. I know barracks bunnies are a thing and ik it happens allot.

EDIT: just to clarify, my boyfriend WANTS to meet him in against it because I don’t wanna put him in that position but my boyfriend insist on meeting him.

Okay so Im white my boyfriend is mixed. We’ve been dating almost 3 years and he hasn’t met my dad because I know my dad is very racist and thinks all black people act a certain way. Also we’ve been long distance and he recently got a car. I’m 18 and my bf is 20 so my dad can’t say much but I live with my dad.

Okay so now yall have the background of all this here’s the story. My boyfriend finally got a car and he can drive the 2 hours to see me and I asked my dad to meet him and he freaked out on me, he was very rude and didn’t talk to me for a few days. Well then my mom talked to him and my mom is against what my dad believes my mom loves my bf so she’s on my side and got my dad to finally talk to me. And my dad went on a rant of how biracial couples aren’t okay and blah blah blah a bunch of bs. So then my bf met my mom this past weekend and after I got home my parents were arguing and my dad screamed at her and was kicking shit and acting psychotic. My parents are on the verge of divorce now but that was a long time coming anyway. Now my dad is kinda calmed down and wants to meet him and I’m so scared, we are driving down to see him in a few weeks. I need advice on how to go about this I love my dad to death but I hate how he’s so selfish and not understanding and racist.
