How to politely avoid spit when talking to a friend?

Have any of you noticed this?

Some people who are actually friendly and not trying to be obnoxious will release bits of spit, saliva that fly at the face of the person yhey are talking to.

I don't know if it is a medical condition or just habit or their mouth position but they do not seem to realize it.

How can we be polite and have a discussion with them but not get spit at?

Survival in big cities from zombies?

Zombie Apocalypse Questions.

Hi all. Here is my situation.

I used to watch all the zombie movies I could but had to stop because I was getting horrific nightmares.

I have some questions for you.

Let's assume the zombie plague is spread by a virus like super rabies.

Nothing supernatural.

Like the movie 28 Days Later and the sequels, and like Omega Man with Charlton Heston or I Am Legend.

1 dead bodies cannot be resurrected except by God. He places new life there.

2 The virus takes over the brain and turns the person into a raging murderous blood thirsty beast that can be killed by destroying the brain or severe bleeding to death which destroys the brain.

The questions:

1 If an uninfected person is stuck inside a big modern city like London or Los Angeles and gets inside a strong building made of cement, steel, and stone or brick, and is able to barricade or seal off any glass or other doors and easy to reach windows, how long can they survive?

2

If the person or persons hiding in that building decide to escape and get to the deep wilderness, like say North Canada or Alaska if American or Canadian, or, the Arctic or Alps if in Europe, what is their best way to do this?

3 How many zombies can a somewhat fit adult person stop if all they have are melee weapons like knives, machetes, and axes or spikes?

I love Jesus but the lost world upsets me. Help cheer me up please

When Jesus and Paul tell us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, and, that both would like us to be deep in the knowledge of righteousness but not in the knowledge of sin, yet to be aware of the devices if Satan, is that God basically saying, "I created you humans to be My sinless children in a universe of righteous love, where I would empower you to create a super civilization in My eternal kingdom, with only good and no evil."?

I love God and good things and know to be hated for His sake shows we are with Him.

But the evil lost world upsets me.

How can a working class Christian with few skills create passive income so he or she can be free to serve God without working for mankind?

How can an American Christian employee who works long and hard hours making minimum wage earnings in places like Taco Bell and Burger King and who is middle aged and has dozens of dreams and ideas but is scared of failing and getting into trouble like bankruptcy, somehow create a Passive Income, NOT TO BECOME GREEDY RICH, but to be able to retire and have money that makes more money?

And who has horrible math skills.
Is this impossible or how can it be done?

His dream is to have all his needs guaranteed paid for so he is free to serve God and spread the Gospel 24 7.

He said it is not fair that Christian Con Men like Joel Osteen and Kenneth Copeland get rich deceiving Christians with false teachings but he loves Jesus and has the real Gospel but not the time to spread Christ 24 7.

He thanks God for what God blesses with.

Universal Replicator Phaser Stick?

Aside from the Q which Star Trek race has the power to make this device?

A 4 to 6 inch long nearly indestructible rod that feels like smooth plastic and metal and which can replicate, self heal if damaged, replicate any matter or object including fleets of starships, cut, weld, stun, cure any disease, create anrigravity, has unlimited self power so it never loses energy, and can shoot phaser and disruptor beams but which can even disintegrate neutronium and anything except a Q being.

And it locks to the soul and DNA of the owner so it cannot be stolen.

Like a Super version of Gary Seven's Servo.

USA economy is great but costs are high

of May 2026, the U.S. economy shows solid growth with resilient jobs and GDP, but high living costs make it feel poor to many consumers. The economy is experiencing high wages, low unemployment, and a strong stock market, yet persistent inflation and high interest rates continue to pressure household budgets. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Current Economic Snapshot (Mid-2026):

  • Growth: Q1 2026 GDP grew by around 2%, with positive momentum in the second quarter due to strong consumer spending and business investment.
  • Labor Market: The market is active, adding 115,000 jobs in April 2026, beating expectations.
  • Inflation & Costs: While inflation has retreated from 2022 peaks, it remains above the Fed's 2% target. Services like childcare, along with food and housing, remain high, driving consumer complaints.
  • Consumer Sentiment: Despite strong macro data, 76% of Americans rate the economy as "fair" or "poor" due to affordability issues.
  • Outlook: 2026 is marked by uncertainty regarding AI disruption, policy changes, and high interest rates. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

In short, the economy is statistically robust but feels difficult for many Americans due to affordability struggles. [1, 2]
