Really unsure what to do...
Hello, I've had a few problems with the USB-C Airpod Max headphones that nobody seems to be able to fix. I've called apple twice and sent it in and nothing happened; it's still broken. I'm on reddit as my last chance, because at this point I trust yall more than Apple. Here are some symptoms:
- When I take it off (almost instantly), the headphones disconnect. This happens with and without automatic head detection.
- When I take it off and the headphones doesn't disconnect, it just straight up stops playing audio when I turn it back on.
- When these headphones are connected, on or off, head detection on or off, the audio would occasionally play from the phone instead of the headphones.
- The only way to fix this is to forget the device and completely factory reset these headphones, every time. Even so, it's inconsistent and will not work half of the time.
- Occasionally, the only way to factory reset these headphones is to plug them in and reset them.
- When reconnecting, my phone's Bluetooth tells me that it can't connect because they're too far (they're not), or they are unable to connect
- When they are successfully connected, occasionally there is no chime and the volume/noise control buttons on the air pods don't work.
- Occasionally, one ear will cut off the audio. This is often followed by a disconnection, but sometimes not. If not, factory resetting won't work half of the time.
- Sometimes, when recently disconnected and reconnected, the Airpod Max is in a constant state of disconnecting on my phone.
Extra Info:
Mostly use these headphones on an iPhone 15, but similar issues occur when connected to my computers (Windows)
