I must have hit my tie jumping into the pool yesterday around 5pm. The first couple pics are from yesterday 4-5 hours after I felt pain and then the rest today at 1pm. I don't think its broken.
I was a nervous wreck. I was caught up on payments when I filed at the end of March, but couldn't start my new job until June, and my first check was the 10th of this month. I bought the car used in 2022 and made payments without issue until last year when my life imploded. The car is 13 years old, has 167k miles on it, and I owe over $9k when its worth *maybe* $5k. Anyone would tell me I'm high to even want to reaffirm it, but there is one reason I have to. My dad co-signed foe me and I refuse to leave him with the debt, plus irs a good car and the payment is only $292. I figured now that I'm back to a salary job and living with my boyfriend I can make more than the $292 payment and knock it out quick.
But everythinf I read online said I was screwed and there way no way in hell a judge would approve a reaffirmation agreement. I went so far as ro prepare a written speech, print out my new paystubs, and provide proof as to why I had to work awful jobs making $13-$14 an hour. I also called the lender and made payment arrangements to show the judge.
But to my utter shock the judge approved the agreement with almost no pushback. I explained about my dad co-signing and my new job, but I really didnt have to go into much detail.
I just thought I would share my experience for anyone who was or is like me and freaking out.
I filed pro se and included RiverLink (toll bridge) in my bankruptcy but they have continued to send me bills with late fee after late fee on them. I emailed them and the lady requested the creditor list and my "original documents." I sent her the list and told her my case number and she could look it all up on pacer.gov. This was her response today:
I understand that your bankruptcy information may be available on PACER; however, our process requires that we receive the original bankruptcy documentation in order to proceed.
I do see that Riverlink is listed among the creditors, but unfortunately, I am not able to access or retrieve the necessary information from the website.
Please provide a copy of the official bankruptcy documents at your earliest convenience so we can continue processing your request.
I've been with my boyfriend for approximately 15 months and moved in with him after 6 months of dating. One time early on he asked me if my proposal (1st marriage) was romantic or not, but nothing about it since then. I wasnt even proposed to then which comes up later. We talked about marriage a few months back regarding finances and "what if" scenarios. Thats the extent of it.

Over the past week hes been different. I started a new job Monday and told the lady that my boyfriend is related to everyone in our county. She asked if he was related to the sheriff because that's my last name (I said boyfriend but I guess she missed that part). Anyway, I joked with him that if we ever got married he could take my last name and he said "I would never get married again." I must have looked surprised because he said "I know you thought I was going to say I would never take your last name." He then gave me a little smile and said "I thought I told you that."

He's been more affectionate and looking at me and smiling out of nowhere. And the other night he was texting his adult daughter but had the phone turned away from me. And hes an open book usually - lets me use his phone whenever and ive never had worries about other women so its nothing like that. Then last night we watched a horror/romantic comedy type movie where there was a proposal at the end. He asked me if I had ever been proposed to before and I said no.

We are taking a vacation to where I grew up in July. His son and daughter are coming along and he mentioned his oldest daughter and grandson might come join us for a couple of days. So maybe?? But im wondering if maybe Im reading too much into what is absolutely nothing. Ugh.
I'm not really sure where to post this, but maybe someone here can help. I have (had) three phones. An iPhone 15, Google pixel 8a, and a Google pixel 7. I got offers and codes for each of the phones before heading to the kiosk (eco atm) . It gave me exactly what it offered for both the iPhone and pixel 7, but told me that the 8a was "too new."
I tried it twice and got the same result. Not sure if anyone here knows what the issue might be but I thought I would ask.
Edit: I just went back to price it and realized there is nothing there for a pixel 8a!! It has 10a, 9a, 7a, etc. But no 8a...
No creditors showed but I tried joining with my phone and had no sound so the trustee put me back on hold. I tried it on my laptop even though I have to use my Hotspot and it can lag. Thankfully it worked and the trustee had some extra time for me.
She asked me some basic questions. I answered honestly and she concluded it with no issues. She did ask me if I was reaffirming my car loan and I said yes so that's all good. I'm working on the education course now.
