I find that migraine-havers always come up with some rather colorful/interesting ways to describe how our migraine attacks feel.

I always say mine are like having the inside of my skull scraped out, like if you were carving a pumpkin.

How do you describe yours?

I am working overseas after completing my degree abroad, but my visa is set to expire the first week of February 2027 along with my contract. Recently, I’ve made the decision not to pursue another visa, and instead plan to move home and go back to school.

My plan is to work full time for a year or two while taking prerequisite classes in the evenings until I’m ready to start the program. The semester starts the second week of February 2027, so my plan is to move home the last week of January to give myself time to adjust before starting a new job and school.

I’d like to start applying for a new job starting in September/October, and would like to use my current boss as a reference. When should I give notice? My contract says two weeks, but given my timeline, I feel I should give more.
