Sapphic, smutty, literary fiction

Are there any literary fiction novels that are sapphic and smutty? just not in search of cartoon character covers and hoping for more emotional plots.

Books that read like giant puzzles/riddles

Looking for books for my boyfriend. He’s currently reading House of Leaves because it’s like the title, he’s just getting back into reading and I’m trying to find ones i feel like pique his interest. Anything super in depth requiring a lot of digging and potentially even coding, trying to make sense of a lot of details but not overly annoying either?

Doesn’t have to be completely crazy or at the level of House of Leaves, but if you have anything super interesting or jam packed that you think sounds like he’d be into, I’ll hear anything out!

For other interests in case they might help: he also loves The Batman (2022) and has been reading recent comics about Batman and the Paul Dano The Riddler, enjoys philosophy, liked Dante’s Inferno, loves horror as a genre and when it comes to movies particularly loves Korean horror movies (blanking on specific names sadly). He also loves the anime Berserk!

Books with sapphic smut scenes but romance isn’t the main plot?

I don’t want romance to be the main plot, can be the subplot, but smut scenes included

Favorite fast paced books?

as the title suggests! any genre welcome really as long as it’s captivating from the start. I will say I do prefer horror, literary fiction, and bonus points for plot twists!

ISO Horror movie recs

looking for recommendations for horror (not a fan of jump scares or gore though), really enjoyed Hokum, Obsession, Barbarian, Exit 8, and Autopsy of Jane Doe

public pools

probably a long shot seeing as it’s summer and hot but any public pools that seem more catered to adults just looking to swim and not overcrowded with kids/teens?

songs with similar themes as Olivia Rodrigo’s The Cure

being in a romantic relationship but still dealing with self doubt and insecurities, or just songs about those thoughts but maybe not including the relationship part
