Pls help seniors

Hi everyone,

I'm an 18F and I completed my Class 12 this year from the Humanities stream. My subjects were:

Political Science

History

Geography

English

Economics

I'm interested in pursuing a career as a Company Secretary (CS). Is it possible to become a CS after completing Class 12 from the Humanities stream?

If yes, what is the process, and are there any advantages or challenges for a Humanities student in this field?

I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this path. Thanks! 😊

IGNOU+ Cuet( helpp)(Humanities stream)

So, I've pretty much accepted that I won't be getting into DU this year through my CUET score.

I'm thinking of taking a partial drop—taking admission in IGNOU and preparing for CUET again alongside my studies. My main goal is to improve my score and try for a better college next year.

Has anyone here done something similar? Was it worth it? How difficult was it to balance IGNOU and CUET preparation?

Also, if anyone else is planning to take a partial drop this year, I'd love to hear your thoughts and plans.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks! This version sounds natural and is more likely to get helpful responses from seniors.

Taking a drop (Humanities stream)

As the title says, I'm considering taking a drop year, though it feels like a difficult decision and not something I ever planned on doing.

I completed Class 12 (ISC, Humanities) this year with 95.5%, but my CUET raw score is around 650. I'm a female General category candidate, so from what I understand, my chances of getting into the colleges I was aiming for are quite low.

Unfortunately, private colleges aren't really an option for me. I come from a lower-middle-class family, have a single mother, and my elder sister is currently preparing for Actuarial Science, so finances are a major consideration.

My current plan is to take admission in IGNOU this year so that I don't lose an academic year completely, while simultaneously preparing for CUET again and attempting it next year.

I wanted to ask whether this seems like a sensible plan. Has anyone here taken a similar route—studying through IGNOU while preparing for CUET?

Aio Parents and tuition teacher

My sister teaches private tuition, and one parent has a habit of sending her child extremely late. A delay of 10–15 minutes once in a while is understandable, but this was regularly 30 minutes to even 1 hour late.

Yesterday, the parent herself requested that the tuition timing be changed to 10:30 AM. My sister agreed and adjusted her schedule accordingly. However, the child arrived at 11:25 AM. After this happened repeatedly, my sister finally sent a polite message telling the child mom please follow the agreed timing, since the delays were making it difficult to manage classes and her schedule.

Instead of discussing the issue, the parent got angry and basically said, "How could you message me about this?" and then announced that she would no longer send her child for tuition.

Was my sister wrong for bringing up the issue, or was the parent's reaction unreasonable?

Airtel recharge scam

\> Airtel is literally doing a scam. 😭 Yesterday, when I was recharging my number, there was no 1.5 GB/day plan showing for 1 or 2 months, even after searching. Not even a 1 GB/day plan. So I had no choice but to recharge with the 2 GB/day plan. And now, the very next day, the app is suddenly showing the 1.5 GB/day plan. 💀🤡
