Ended up going with a design that fit the tone more, but loved this design too much to scrap it. Intended a secretary-feel for it, but feels a bit Disney-Maleficent too.
Thanks in a huge way to you guys here and on other reddits, we were able to finally get a name for this character: Ekso. A bit on-the-nose, but fitting for celebrity streamer's handle.
But it feels like something's missing, any ideas?
I've attached our previous work as well: references for her body, outfit, a quick lore summary, even added a new one with her hands. Do excuse the filler name, still updating things.
For a longer summary: This character (Ekso) is a streamer in the far, far future of setting affectionately nicknamed "Future Unknown" as the date is never given. The setting was created for a short story about a mecha pilot's day to day, and has expanded to become our own little homebrew setting for stories like our upcoming comic, Dark Neon. In which Ekso will cameo.
In lore, this setting takes place roughly 20 thousand years from now. By now, humanity has spread far throughout the galaxy, and nearly wiped itself out in a hour-long war that spanned the known universe. While the war, called "the Black Hour" was hundreds of years ago, humanity is still recovering, giving it a slight ragtag feel to an otherwise high tech setting.
For this character, Ekso. She lives a life that's meant to seem great on the surface, but comes with caveats that hopefully balance it out, if not making it worse for her. Namely, she is a celebrity with a fully cybernetic body and an audience in the trillions (which is a lot given nearly 80% of humanity died out in the Black Hour). Easily one of the top 50 or so most famous people alive. Her day job is a brutal form of what we have now as streamers. Only, instead of carrying around a camera, her body is simply always recording. Allowing viewers to seamlessly watch her from any angle and experience her life literally secondhand; through her eyes, feeling what she feels. She also engages with something similar to a live-chat. Whether she still has to speak or its in her thoughts is still being decided. As for what she streams, she's something between a professional martial artist and a futuristic Gladiator. Sometimes, she's having big fights, semi-arranged with a ton of opponents. Sometimes, its akin to champion matches, in themed arenas complete with homefield advantages. And sometimes she's just relaxing in her tiny dorm. Discussing fashion and cybernetics in her "off" time or while training. Inspired by NASCAR livery, her body and all outfits are plastered in advertisements.
The real hangup? She's effectively a prisoner in her own body. K.A.R.M.A. is a predictive AGI (self aware AI) and the real reason she's such an accomplished fighter. Inspired by Gundam's ZERO system, K.A.R.M.A. allows Ekso to effectively "rewind" from any failure. Simulating her future an undisclosed amount of time in advance, and fast enough that she can retry any failures near-indefinitely until she wins. (How that effects her psyche has been explored in a short story we hope to have out soon!). Beyond being stuck reliving every failure, K.A.R.M.A. essentially runs her body with Ekso only as the navigator. The AGI makes the final call on everything and can overrule her. As for K.A.R.M.A.'s plans, not even Ekso knows. Her memory is already foggy, and K.A.R.M.A. won't let her share anything about it, even that her brain is basically an AGI running Ekso as a partition (or maybe an app? not the most computer-savvy). Naturally, More about K.A.R.M.A. will be shared as her story progresses.
But one mystery remains: what's missing? Is there anything that should be added to her reference sheets? Some major question about the lore, settings, or characters? Currently we're working on adding a few more companies to the ad portion of her reference and also some alternate views. But what do you think?

Been working on a far-future cyberpunk comic and kinda stumped on the name for this character. Asked around on reddit and social media and got some finalists for what her nams could be. Vote here: https://strawpoll.com/bVg8BWGw2yY
Besides the name, also working on wrapping up her reference sheet (image #3) and general design. Trying to add more logos and adjust the existing ones; making it so some are more important than others. What do you think is missing?
Oh! And the lore! This character (name pending) is a celebrity in the far future. A streamer who fights people for entertainment. Since its the future, her viewers and live-chat can see it all through her eyes and in third person. What they can't see is the AGI (self aware AI) named K.A.R.M.A. filtering her thoughts and actions, predicting thier outcomes. Also! Inspired by NASCAR livery, her body and outfit(s) are covered in ads.

Could use a second opinion (or third) on this character. Namely her, well, name. Can't come up with one that feels like it fits. Also feel like the reference sheet is missing something (alrrady working on side views). What do you think?

Completely lost on the name, currently opening it up to the top comments across our socials. While originally writing her scenes she had a different name which the design totally outgrew.
So what do you think it should be? And anything else to add to her ref sheet?

So what should the name be? Since we have no idea we'll take the top 10 or so comments (on next friday) and make a big poll with them. Only rule is no profanity as the comic will be T rated.
