Hey hey,
da das Deutschland-Ticket ja wieder teurer wird, hab ich auch mein Abo beendet. Lohnt schlicht nicht bei meinem ÖPNV-Konsum. Da ich aber zu 80% im VGN-Bereich unterwegs bin, dachte ich, ein lokales VGN‑Ticket, das nur einen bestimmten Teil abdeckt, muss nicht mal der Gesamtraum sein, müsste ja dann ein gutes Stück billiger sein. Bleibt auch noch ein bisschen mehr Geld in meiner Region hängen.

Jetzt wühle ich mich durch alle VGN-Seiten, sehe Jahres-Abo, Plus-Abo, Mobicards...aber das macht ja alles null Sinn? Ein Jahres-Abo für den Gesamtraum, mit Ausschlusszeiten, kostet 121,50€ im Monat. Warum sollte man ein Ticket kaufen, das das Doppelte von einem Deutschland-Ticket kostet, nur in einem kleinen Teil des Landes und nicht mal rund um die Uhr gilt ?

Und das ist ja noch das billigste Ticket. Das 365-Ticket ist interessant, ist aber ja nur für Schüler.
Ich meine, klar sind das verschiedene Anbieter und natürlich ist das D-Ticket subventioniert, aber dann brauche ich doch derart lokalen Kram doch gar nicht mehr anzubieten? Doppelter Preis, ein Bruchteil der Leistung. Dann schaff ich das doch ab und versuch irgendwas Sinnvolles Lokales zu etablieren. Gibt ja genug Leute, die regelmäßig in der Region fahren und kein D-Ticket brauchen. Mach ich doch lieber etwas Verlust, im Vergleich zu früher, als gar nichts einzunehmen? Kann doch nicht damit kalkulieren, dass genügend Leute das D-Ticket nicht kennen? Das D-Ticket steigt vermutlich jährlich schneller im Preis, aber bis es ü120€ im Monat kostet, vergeht ja noch ein über ein Jahrzehnt!

Was übersehe ich hier ? Gibt es noch irgendein anderes Abo (Single, Erwachsen, muss nicht mal Gesamtraum sein), das billiger ist als das D-Ticket? Und was läuft da konzeptionell falsch?

I'm looking for a new smartwatch. My focus is not on sports or health tracking, but outdoor activities like hiking, trekking, kayak tours etc. Navigation is an important part, like good GPS tracking and real offline maps you can actually use.

Polar seems to be the only European company with such products, kinda. So I try to inform myself about the different models, and I'm a bit confused. So here are my questions:

1. The Vantage V3 seems to be technical the same as the Grit X2 Pro, just with less rugged materials. Is that correct? The price difference for another housing is quite big imho. Did I miss something here? Same functions, same screen it seems.

2. The difference between the Grit X2 Pro and the Grit X2 Pro Titan is just the housing material correct?

3. How are your experience with the smartphone connection/app integration? I'd like to use Komoot e.g. How do I get maps on the watch, which formats and what can I export after my activities?

4. How often are new models released and are there is there any information about the next watches? Planned to buy one around Black Friday but waiting like half a year wouldn't be that bad.

5. Are there any more European companies with good outdoor smartwatches? I know that Suunto still produces in Finland, but I'd rather prefer an EU company even if the produce in Asia like Polar. But please tell me, are Suunto watches better for my purpose? And are there any other options in Europe actually?

Hi, würde gern meiner Schwester eine Freude machen. Sie schwärmt immer noch von einer Süßigkeit aus unserer Kindheit, damals 5 Pfennig vom Bäcker...ihr wisst schon.

Finde leider kein Bild. Es waren dünne, flexible, kinderhandtellergroße Schaumherzen mit Brausegeschmack. Schätze in 4 Pastellfarben. Nicht die kleinen, festen Brauseherzen, die man immer noch findet. Weiß nicht wie ich es besser beschreiben kann. Könnte Haribo gewesen sein, weiß es nicht mehr.

Denke ja nicht, dass man sie noch irgendwo findet, aber vllt etwas Alternatives aus dem Ausland o.ä. Ein Produktname, Bild und Hersteller wären schon mal sehr hilfreich.

I’m looking for a torch that I can easily slip into the breast pocket of my jacket and that shines straight outwards at a right angle. However, to ensure it fits well in the pocket, I’d prefer it to be as flat as possible rather than round like the most angled lights are. Ideally, it would be 1 cm thick, or perhaps even thinner. The head itself could be a bit thicker. It could be up to 10 cm wide and long. In general, it's rather for lightning up a room to work without blinding people, not for searching, checking stuff in great distance etc.

To give a few examples I’ve already come across: the Wuben G5 is almost uncomfortably thick at 1.5 cm, but otherwise well suited. The Olight Arkflex might be worth a look, but it seems to have been discontinued.

What I need:
- angled light
- as thin as possible
- USB-C charging

What would be nice but not a must-have:
- good quality
- rather a flooder
- warm light
- head adjustable
- magnets
- clip
- water-resistant
- a striking colour so you can find it easily
- powerbank feature
- extra features like UV, coloured light...

What I don't need:
- super high output
- super long runtime
- lots of modes
- fancy charging
- cheap af
- programmable
- switchable battery
