One of the best 'isekai' cultivation story that I read so far.

Although it's presented as a harem-like novel, with a wish-fulfillment image, it's more of a Horror due to what's happening behind the scene.

It’s a novel full of conspiracies, and one of my favorite conspiracy right now is that there was never actually a “past life.” All of the protagonist’s memories about having read the novel is fake, fabricated.

The male protagonist has no memories of his supposed past life other than reading the novel, and there are a lot of things that confuse him because they never appeared in the “original” story. Which would actually make sense if whoever created his fake memories also didn’t know those things existed.

And it goes even deeper than that. Every stroke of 'lucky' incident, every convenient encounter with some jade beauties that are conveniently in high places, and every treasure he obtains have been deliberately arranged for some hidden purpose.

Someone is essentially creating situations where the MC is guaranteed to find certain treasures, then creating circumstances where he has to use them. Eventually, those treasures allow him to save some influential person who just happens to be in danger, where the person behind the scenes is also the one who caused that danger in the first place.

It’s basically like someone is artificially creating a “Child of Destiny” around him, manipulating events so that he appears to be incredibly lucky in life, cultivation, and romance, when in reality, everything has been carefully orchestrated for some hidden purpose.

He's more of an empty doll that are stuffed with fake 'I'm in a novel world!' memories.

Edit: The first sign that there's something odd is around chapter 12, every chapter before that painted the story as a generic wish-fulfillment xianxia story

Here's an example of what I mean:

The hand behind the scene created a fake 'Young Master' via mind control and make him pick a fight with the mc to fulfill the 'slapping the arrogant Young Master face' cliche and allow the mc faction to gain a huge amount of fame.

I had just browsed through some Soul land fanfic in QQ (The App version), and this one fanfic that I’m currently reading is a mix of Soul Land Manhua and Donghua, so it’s kind of fun.

After reading it, I went to the comment section to see what the other reader thought about the fic, after scrolling a while, I noticed that there’s some discussion regarding about how despite Tang Jia San Shao have some beef with the artist with how much of his story got tweaked, the True Body Bone Armament concept is something that he liked a lot, to the point where he made it into Huo Yuhao Ice God Armour in Soul Land 2 and the Battle Armour in Soul Land 3.

Which I understand, Kamen Rider Amour + Cultivator is sick.

Tang Jia San Shao probably didn't like the Spirit Mark and Human Spirit Bone concept, since it never came up in Soul Land 2 and beyond.
