Looking for advice on my recent blood test results

[20F]
I’ve been feeling lethargic and lacking energy lately. I also struggle with mood swings, stress, anxiety, and feelings of guilt. I’m trying to figure out how I can improve my overall health and feel more like myself again.
My doctor told me that my iron levels are low and recommended iron treatment, but I wasn’t given much information about the dosage or how often it should be taken. I was also prescribed 50,000 IU of vitamin D3 once a week for three months.
My B12 level was technically within the normal range, but it seems to be on the lower end. Would it make sense to take a B12 supplement to raise it slightly, or is that unnecessary if the level is still considered normal?
I haven’t started the treatment yet. Are there any other vitamins or supplements that might be worth considering for general health?
I also asked a pharmacist about omega-3, and they said it’s okay to take it alongside vitamin D.
Is taking omega-3 daily generally safe? If so, how do I choose the appropriate type and dose, and is there a preferred time of day to take it?

I can barely focus anymore because my mind is constantly somewhere else

I honestly don’t know what’s happening to me anymore.

I’m 20, and I’ve been struggling with my attention and concentration so much lately. My mind feels like it never shuts up. I can barely sit down to watch a 10–20 minute lecture and somehow spend two hours trying to get through it because I keep zoning out without even realizing it.

I’ll watch for a few minutes, then suddenly realize I’m thinking about something completely unrelated. Sometimes I end up scrolling through my phone without even consciously deciding to pick it up. I’ve tried putting my phone in another room, but even then, I just end up getting lost in my thoughts.

And the weird thing is that it’s not really a problem with doing everything.

I can write. I can do assignments. I can sometimes work pretty well if I listen to music. But when it comes to listening to lectures or studying, my brain just refuses to stay there.

I also daydream a LOT outside of studying. Music is a huge trigger for me. I’ll put on headphones and completely disappear into imaginary scenarios. I create entire situations and conversations in my head, and sometimes I even react with facial expressions or quietly respond as if someone were actually there. I can spend a ridiculous amount of time doing this without realizing how much time has passed.

What bothers me the most is that I wasn’t always like this.

Back in high school, I could study for 4–6 hours for my university entrance exam. I could read novels for hours, watch an entire movie without touching my phone, and draw for hours without feeling the need to constantly switch to something else.

Now I’m in my third year of university and I can barely finish anything I start.

I have midterms next week and I haven’t properly finished studying for any of my courses. There are also so many things I want/need to learn outside university that would help me after graduation, but I keep putting everything off and barely make any progress.

Even my reaction to my grades has changed.

I used to get really anxious before exams and feel terrible if I wasn’t prepared. Now… I honestly don’t feel that much anxiety. I mostly just want to pass. I don’t really care about getting a high grade anymore. If I get a bad grade, I’ll feel some regret afterward because I know I could’ve studied, but that’s basically it.

The only thing that still makes me anxious is my mom’s reaction to my grades. I’ve actually lied to her about my grades multiple times and told her I got a higher score than I really did.

I don’t know if all of this is related to maladaptive daydreaming, ADHD, burnout, depression, or something else. I’m not trying to self-diagnose, but I genuinely don’t understand why I’ve changed this much.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Especially going from being able to focus for hours to barely being able to get through a 10-minute lecture?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have experienced something like this.

Starting laser hair removal with sensitive, hyperpigmented skin, need advice

Hi! I’m 20 and I’m planning to start laser hair removal on my underarms and bikini area

I have very sensitive, fair skin, medium-thickness hair, and mild to moderate hyperpigmentation in both areas. I’m worried about laser making the pigmentation worse, so I’d really appreciate advice from people with similar skin and hair

I’ve heard that waxing 5–7 days before a laser session can give better results than shaving. Is this true, or can waxing reduce the laser’s effectiveness? Should I avoid waxing completely, and when should I shave before a session?

What can I do before and after each session to minimize the risk of burns, irritation, and hyperpigmentation? Are there any products or ingredients I should use or avoid, deodorant, fragrances, hot showers, or sun exposure?
For those who have had hyperpigmentation in these areas, did laser improve, worsen, or have no effect on it?

What type of laser device is generally best for my skin and hair type, especially considering my sensitive skin and hyperpigmentation?
Finally, what questions should I ask the clinic before buying a package, especially about the laser device, settings, cooling system, and their experience treating sensitive or hyperpigmented skin?

How can I prevent irritation and bumps when shaving my bikini area?

shave my bikini area regularly, but it always gets irritated, and sometimes I get a few small bumps and itching afterward. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if there are certain products I should use before or after shaving to prevent irritation and bumps

I also sometimes have trouble finding a comfortable position for shaving. I’m worried about accidentally cutting myself with the razor, especially around the outer labia. I’ve tried using a mirror, but I’m still not sure what position works best. I’d really appreciate any advice on a safe shaving position, as well as what products I could use before or after shaving to help prevent irritation and bumps

Severe hair shedding that’s been getting worse for years

Ever since I started high school, my hair has gradually gotten worse every year. It used to be thick, healthy, and full, but now I’m in my third year of university, and the hair loss has become really severe.
My hair still grows at a normal rate, so length isn’t the problem. The problem is the shedding. Every time I brush my hair, I end up with a handful of hair coming out. It has also become frizzy and doesn’t look as healthy as it used to.
I’ve never used any chemical treatments, bleach, or hair dye. Occasionally, I use oils and hair masks, but nothing has made a noticeable difference.
I’m looking for advice on how to improve my hair’s thickness and reduce the shedding. Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, what helped? Could this be caused by a vitamin or nutrient deficiency?
