Our baby just turned one this month, and we’ll be traveling internationally by plane soon. I’ve booked a separate seat for them. Do I definitely need to bring a car seat for the flight? Our baby can sit upright comfortably and independently.

Thanks in advance

Caveman Kathaigal: I guess WSR should stick to social commentary.

I listened to Caveman Kathaigal recently. It had an excellent start from Kakashi about knives well researched and articulated. But right after Mani took over, I lost interest when he explained why we use Christ as a historical reference point for time. His part about chairs was poorly done mostly shallow facts and I couldn’t listen for more than ten minutes. If I missed something fantastic after those ten minutes, do tell me. It would be better if they let Kakashi and Kisame lead, and have the others add points on these kinds of topics. This is feedback from a listener who expects quality content.

PS: Sad to see this page isn’t utilized much for podcast discussions.

Why Nissan is buying back old cars for a premium? What’s your thought on 2026 Rogue. I have an 2021 SV with 52k miles on it.

Job I am interviewing for got reposted.

I had a fairly in-depth phone screen with the hiring manager and another team member, and I left feeling pretty good about it. But it’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything. Today I saw that they reposted the job.

Seeing the role reopened makes me wonder whether I fell short even against a candidate pool that didn’t seem particularly strong, which is tough not to take personally.

Hobby Explorer Fitness class

It seems like HOBBY started online fitness coaching business, but he doesn't appear particularly fit or like someone with significant training experience. He completed some random ass fitness trainer certification and then launched this program. He's also listed a few part-time coaches, probably to make it look more legit.

Most of the exercises he's teaching can easily be learned from YouTube. Personal training is a serious responsibility, and poor instruction or bad form can lead to long-term injuries and health issues.

Why can't these influencers stick to what they actually know? Why do they always try to monetize their subscribers one way or another?

For the record, I'm not criticizing genuine experts who use social media to expand their reach .
