I do not remember her being this hard. (Though I am thankful you can retry the fight without dealing with the elevator.)
My first playthrough I used the big axe and don’t recall too much trouble.
I’m trying to parry most of her attacks and if I miss I’m usually one-shot. This fight is pretty exemplary.
I tried fire instead of leech before. I’ll switch back because leech doesn’t help when you’re getting one shot.
Any advice?

First I didn’t realize until yesterday that the beta is available in Xbox.
Just downloaded and played the beta for a few hours. WOW: this game has potential!
-graphics: incredible. Best on Xbox I’ve seen. Character models are super realistic. Lighting very well done.
-aesthetic: nice dreary, dead world
-innovations: I really like the shell idea. I also like the closer camera angle (took a little getting used to). I like the way different seals change parry timing.
-combat: great feel, very realistic, fun, precise
-bosses: so far so good
I’m very excited for this game. I think this could be a very special game.
These mods are pretty cool. I looked at didn’t see one for unlimited guns and ammo or similar. Am I missing something?
I came here from 3d souls likes and have been enjoying the game. I like the combat, challenge, progression and art style.
BUT
I just lost 90k salt (dying 2x after 2 boss fights and 2x each with 15k). Ahhhh!!!!
How to you use this? I trashed the packaging and can’t figure out how to use it 🤦♂️
I just finished my first playthrough of BB. I’m now on my third. I’m a huge Dark Souls 1-3 / Sekiro / ER fan (plus LOP and Wuchang).
I had to comment on the first half of Forbidden Woods. I spent more time on the second half in my first playthrough getting lost, but this time I really appreciated how good of a level it is.
Everything cuts back on itself with a few ways to go through. For example, the first time I fell down the broken wood before the big hole in the ground. The second time I went around to the left. And immediately went far left to the high ground with the guys throwing Molotovs. The third time I went left instead of falling but then went to the area with the big hole in the ground. Realized the stone gate leads me back up to the beginning and that the water is oil (got burned to death trying the low way).
You can go up and talk to the suspicious beggar, which is a great (hated) NPC.
Then there is the shortcut to Ioaska’s clinic, which is incredible (coming up to see the moon) and totally unexpected! Plus her storyline is awesome and you can give someone just what he deserves too.
I think it’s up there with some of the best levels in the genre.
Part of me wants to keep pushing strength but it’s giving me like one point on 757 on my WPN1 ATK so doesn’t seem worth it.
I’d like more stamina but the returns aren’t great there either.
Blood only helps my gun, as I understand it, but the main point there is parrying.
So arcane?
