Tromboncino + squash that grew from the seeds of the mutant tromboncino squash from last year. Longest one was a whopping 40"! Not pictured: the ten squashes still growing in on the vine.
By far my favorite garden plant!
Northern Indiana. Female ruby throated hummingbird set up shop in a tree by my squash garden. Just found the nest today by accident (and was promptly told off by mama) and looks like there might be a baby in there. Since it's almost September I really hope the little guy is close to fledging. I put a feeder out so hopefully that helps fatten him up before they migrate.
Tree frog taking a little frog nap. You are very welcome here sir. Enjoy the amenities. If you need anything just croak.
For those who have gone to a concert at the new Acrisure Amphitheatre, what time did the concert end for you? I know local noise ordinance forces shows there to end at 11pm, but do any shows ever come that close? Trying to plan for our vacation this weekend. The hotel is willing to shuttle us but they'll only run until 11 so just seeing what time everyone is getting out of these concerts. Thanks!
So we just had our septic line and cleanout replaced but now water is entering the basement where the cleanout exits through the wall. Hydraulic cement was used on the outside but not sure it was enough. Excavation is not an option.
Could I use Great Stuff Pool and Pond to seal around the cleanout? Will that damage the pipe? Many thanks in advance!
Still deciding how I want the end strands but this is pretty much it! Really love how it turned out. Had to follow a bunch of different tutorials online for the pendant, necklace, etc. to incorporate all the features I wanted but honestly it was worth it! I think I've got a new favorite hobby!
Still need to add the border which will have the loop for the necklace part, but considering this is only my 2nd piece I feel pretty happy with it!
Medium of choice is 1mm nylon cord because it's easier to fix mistakes.
For those leaving the Lionel Ritchie concert tonight (if it's ended yet), what does the parking situation look like? Is it better in the parking garages further away or are the people who reserved the amiphitheatre parking garage able to leave quicker? Also, how are the bus-goers doing? Are you able to catch the bus back or did a few dozen people get stranded? I'm trying to formulate a plan before my husband and I go in July. Thanks and hope y'all had fun!
My sister was just awarded SSDI late last year and started recieving payments this year, however she was just arrested a month ago on a Level 5 Felony for Battery (long story). I understand SSDI will suspend her benefits since she's been in jail for more than 30 days, but I'm wondering about the Continuing Disability Review. The judge recommended redetermination every 2 years. The average sentance for what she's done is 3 years. Does anyone know if they'll conduct the CDR while she's in jail, and will her being incarcerated interfere with the process? Thanks!
There was a time simple diy kits like this were all over Ebay and Etsy and now I can't seem to find them anymore. Just neopixel or LGT compatible cores. I used to like using basic modular wiring systems like this because it gave me the ability to position the switch where I want and adjust the LED as needed. Now I can't seem to find them anywhere, at least not ones going for less than $100. Anyone know if I can still find basic kits like these anywhere? Thanks!
