The most ridiculous flight experience I’ve ever had.
Scheduled to fly from IAD to Seattle today at 1:15. Board the plane and after sitting at the gate for 45 minutes we deplane because the A/C is broken. After another 30 minutes they send us to a new plane/gate. Sit there for 4 hours while they prep the new plane. Delayed waiting for the catering. Catering finally arrives with food that’s has sat on the tarmac for hours. So we wait longer. Eventually decide to go without catering and board the plane. Sit in the plane until the pilots announce they’ve timed out and they need a new crew. 45 minutes later we deplane again because the plane is too hot and the pilot isn’t there yet. He finally rolls up with fresh Starbucks. 6.5 hours and still waiting. But hey, I got a $15 voucher!
Update: the flight attendants timed out and we’re waiting for new FA’s!
2nd update: we got new FA’s, but we were delayed again because there wasn’t water on the plane. While waiting for water, the new FA’s timed out. Clown show.
