It’s a taboo topic: Google has known about this for years but they haven't fixed it at its root. TalkBack allows a ton of prohibited accesses without unlocking. TalkBack lets you bypass a bunch of stuff. Maybe by sharing this Google will fix the issue. Do you dare to ruffle Google's feathers? Share!

You probably know Gemini Extensions feature lets anyone that grabs your phone call or send WhatsApp/Messages without unlocking. Sharing to boost visibility for Google FIX IT ASAP and people STAY SAFE
Old news, but for people who still don't know it, for extra security, do not allow Gemini on Lockscreen.
Anyone who gets hold of your phone, without knowing your PIN, can turn on permissions and grant Gemini access to send WhatsApp and Messages without unlocking. Anyone could send texts as you, f.e. ask your parents or contacts for quick money transfers for pay something, or snoop on your contact list.

It's out in the open. The Register, GSMArena, Digital Trends, Bitdefender.. reported it. Google promised The Register a fix weeks ago, but they only half-fixed it. Who knows when Google will actually fix this. Maybe next Android update, maybe next year, maybe never. But people should know so can stay safe or warn friends.

Gemini Extensions allow you, or anyone who catch your phone unattended, to connect and use WhatsApp and Messages and view your contacts from the lockscreen, without know your PIN. Unlock is not required.
Do not allow Gemini on lockscreen for security.

Gemini prohibited access via multitouch. I wasn't the one who discovered this. I think Sandiyo or Surya, or both, discovered this. There are public posts about it. Check by yourself.

Do not allow Gemini on Lockscreen. Gemini bypass the unlock to access the chats history, Gemini 's photos gallery and files and some settings. Allows turn on WhatsApp integration and Gmail and Drive

GOOGLE IS NOT GOING TO FIX THIS! If you see a security issue here, please, file a report to Google VRP . You can access Gemini chat history without unlocking your phone with Android 16 . I reported this issue, but was marked as "Intended Behavior" and they closed the bug
