Lightweight pack for water bladder on smaller hikes?

Hello! I've planned a zion/bryce canyon/grand canyon trip in September, doing 6 mile RT trails on different days. Slim male, ~18in torso length, drink a ton of water.

I was looking at getting a HydraPak Contour 2L bladder, but not sure which pack to get. It'll just be for the water bladder and lunch/snacks mostly.

Is the REI Flash 22 Pack too big for this use case? What packs would you recommend?

Recessed light spacing and sizing for attic lounge using Elco Koto

I'm making a cozy attic lounge room for reading/music/hobby. The closet hides the water heater.

It's a 16' x 12' room with a 16' by 4.5' flat ceiling a few inches under 8' tall. I'm putting rockwool in the ceiling, so using fabric as a ceiling finish instead of drywall to act as a large acoustic absorption panel. I'm also planning on using Govee's 16' COB strips as ascent lighting behind the top ceiling trim for its uniformity and built-in diffusion.

I see the Elco Koto system is highly recommend and I was looking at the 950 lm Sunset LED module ELK09SD. The 3" recessed housing EL390ICA would work since the ceiling is insulated and air tight already.

Would 3 rows of two 3" recessed can lights spaced 2.5' from the end walls, 5.5' between each other, and 18" from the ceiling trim be recommended for this space? Or would 2 rows of 2 spaced 10 ft apart, totaling 4 lights be enough?

Lighting would look roughly like the rendering. Any other recommendations?

Ideas for an inline filter box?

I have an ERV that brings in fresh air from outside.

I've been using a 6" AC Infinity Inline Filter Box on the intake (after the ERV pre filter).

The filter box only takes actual size 11.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 filters. I just tried the 3M filter but it doesn't fit because it's 11.81 x 19.81 x 0.78 in. I read the Nordic pure merv 13 filters I've been using are super restrictive and clog easy.

If I were to replace the box, I'd like to get more normal size filters like 16x20x1 or 20x20x1 since they're cheaper and I can use the better 3M filters.

Is there a prefab inline box that accepts these types of filters at an angle?

Or what would be the best way to DIY an inline box with a sealing filter door?
