Hey all, the last time I played LotRO was back in 2009 and I've been in the mood for something different lately. I recently showed the films to my wife (I don't know how she hadn't seen them yet) and that got me thinking of LotRO. So I reinstalled the game and immediately I'm a bit overwhelmed. I have three main questions at the moment, but I know more will come later.

1. Does this game have any kind of level scaling with friends feature? Like if I play solo and then my wife logs in and she's lower level than me, is there anything that lets me play with her and scale down to her level so she gets full XP?

2. The quest tracker text is so tiny. Is there a way to increase the size of the text without increasing the size of the quest tracker? All the UI scaling options I did just make the window wider but I'm an old man now and I just want bigger text all around

3. I saw this game supports addons. Are there any addons folks see as essential? I don't need a ton of fluff, but QoL addons that specifically affect the early game would be great. Maybe even a better quest tracker?

Anyone else thinking these characters animations on the Switch 2 version look extremely jittery? Game runs nice and buttery smooth but right from the start of a new game the animations of Rex underwater look really jittery. Watching Chairman Bana at the trade guild jump between animation frames looked really bad too.

I'm someone who is extremely sensitive to frame drops but surely everyone else sees this too, right?

During the new quest from Tita's mailbox in the remake she says her Mom and Dad are currently 'Overseas'.

I'm confused, isn't a major plot point of this series that nobody knows what exists beyond the continent of Zemuria? Did I misunderstand the revelation in CS4? Where is 'overseas' on this continent?

I can't seem to find any indication that the update is out on any of the consoles. I see the sticky about the Switch versions being delayed but nothing else. I even tried to decipher the changelog page on the wiki with no success.

Just making a quick post to let folks know that the PS4/PS5 ports of Black Ops 1 and 2 are out today. I know a large number of people were waiting for it so just in case it slipped your notice, here's your alert!

Please be aware that this game is not cross-gen OR cross-platform so PS4 and PS5 don't play with each other.

I've been gaming most of my life and I've royally forked up my hands pretty badly from repetitive strain. I'm constantly having to take week long breaks and icing and bracing my hands. I can't really afford surgery to get it taken care of but I don't want to give up my favorite hobby.

Does anyone know or any PS5 controllers (handheld...I don't have a flat surface to put like a fightstick or access controller down) that have turbo/autofire capabilities? I saw some on Amazon but theyre like only 50 dollars and the reviews say they break very easily. So I'm looking for something people have used themselves for a long period of time. I'd prefer it to be a controller without a ton of bells and whistles, I just need to be able to hold down a button and have the controller interpret that as continuous presses (I love me some Dynasty Warriors games).

Tried this about a month ago and was met with total silence. Trying to find someone to co-op Toukiden 2 with.

If you're unaware, it's like a sort of Open World Monster Hunter game made by the people who make Dynasty Warriors. It's not an incredible game, but it is pretty fun and I'd enjoy some company on hunts.

I want to get the platinum trophy for FF7 Remake but I haven't played in years since it launched. I finished the game back then and I recently started my NG+ playthrough and it occurs to me that I have no way of knowing which of the 9 dresses I got on my first playthrough to know which 6 I still need to get.

Is there any way in game to check? Like, I ASSUME the completionist in me would have had me do a 100% run on my first playthrough but it was a few years ago and I simply cannot remember.

I was just sitting around and remembered that Toukiden 2 exists. I've only played it once about a decade ago (christ I'm old) and I didn't get very far. I don't know how the multiplayer in this game even works. Supposedly there's a free version specifically for multiplayer so I don't even know if you need to actually own the game to play.

But hey if anyone wants to play a sorta-ok Monster Hunter clone made by the Dynasty Warriors people, let me know. I'll be on all night.
