I've played TLoU 1 a few times and decided to go for 100% on my first PC playthrough. I did a couple laps of every single area, sometimes wasting 5+ minutes in a zone with nothing to show for it. Here are my final counts:

19/30 Firefly pendants

80/97 notes and artifacts

28/45 optional conversations

10/12 training manuals

12/13 shiv doors (missed the one with the red X)

All comics/safes/workbenches/tools found

I consider myself pretty thorough with this kind of thing, so what's up? Am I going to be finding a lot of cleverly hidden areas or find stuff lying out in plain sight?

I know there are a lot of Firefly pendants hanging from trees and stuff that I didn't bother to look for. It sounds like some optional conversations are hard to trigger as well.

Also - does Left Behind tie into these counts? I can't find a good answer.

I last played through the game on Wii years ago and just beat it the other night on PC (the HD project and tweak engine are amazing btw).

I kept waiting for a zone to come up and it never did. I remember it being outside on the island and there were those giant bugs flying around, coming out of buildings that were pretty much rubble. The area sloped up and there was possibly a turret at the top?

Maybe I'm thinking of something from Separate Ways or RE5? Tell me I'm not crazy!

Doing my first Infinite playthrough on PC. It's been a few years but I thought I'd be good to 100% the game again without a guide. My high ass forgot to find out where the key you get in Shantytown goes and I locked myself out of an Infusion. I'm playing without the DLC so I didn't get the 5 bonus ones in the beginning. RIP that achievement. Just venting!

Getting really tired of sitting through ice pops, Indeedee heals, evolutions and energy attachments only to get Sabrina'd after 30 seconds.

It happens all the time and I really don't understand why people are so toxic when I'm not even playing an annoying deck.
