So I've been seeing a lot of profiles being posted on the Rishta and Marriage subrreddits. And one thing I've been thinking is to post my own profile here as well.

But with all the anonymity around here I am not sure how do you guys vet people and their profiles?

Have any of you actually had success finding a spouse through apps like Muzz or even social media? Like the Facebook Rishton groups?

I'm considering giving them a try, but I honestly can't tell if people are genuinely looking for marriage or just wasting time.

I hear mixed things all the time.

If you've used Muzz (or similar apps), what was your experience like? Did you meet someone serious? Any red flags or advice you'd give?

Just curious and also terrified, I really want to meet a decent guy. Matchmakers and my parents keep showing me profiles but they don't align.

Whether it's through family or friends or rishta aunties, I've felt finding the right match has been overwhelming.

Made an account on Muzz with a proper bio and information, I got like 500-600 likes in the first few hours.

​

I don't think guys or even girls bother to read the profile. And some of them can't even hold a proper conversation.

Alhamdulillah for my parents,work, and my friends. They have been really supportive and I feel like it's a blessing itself.
