I'd love to swap my road bike with a gravel/touring bike for around two weeks

I'd love to do the Pittsburgh to DC route next week - I have everything planned out, except I have a road bike - Felt Z85. And it's not meant for it at all - I've been struggling, but there's no way I can fit all the food, water and other supplies I'd need, especially on the C&O (my bike will not take a rack at all, fitting one that doesn't need eyelets is weird cause panniers hit my leg every time. Carbon seatpost and carbon fork, hence can't fit bags/panniers that attach directly to them.) I'd love to swap it out with a bike that can fit everything I need (especially food, water and clothes). Oh, and I run 25mms, the bike won't take 28 gravels too. I know the C&O can get pretty slushy this time of the year!

I can ride a medium-large, I'm planning to leave on the 1st/2nd of July, I'll be back by the 11th or 12th). Thank you guys so much, I'd appreciate it so so much :))

Fell yesterday

On route 8 (I know, terrible idea). But I was just getting out of route 8 onto the trails to the right, but there was loose sand off the road. Slipped off the road when turning, my body skidded a few feet. Luckily got away with a few road rashes only.

Things I learnt -

  1. Never get on route 8 again.

  2. Get thicker tires, would help.

  3. Never get on route 8 again.

  4. Google maps - terrible idea when biking. Would probably move to another app for maps.

  5. Never get on route 8 again.

Momentum 5 - Let us discuss the future of (potentially) BIFL wireless headphones.

Sennheiser just teased the momentum 5 - and it features a replaceable battery. Something that has made wireless headphones not BIFL was the lack of a replaceable direction, and we're now potentially moving in that direction. What do you all think, would this pave way for the future of BIFL headphones? Would the casual user, longing for BIFL headphones, then ditch the Senn and Beyerdynamic classics, in favor for these alternatives?

Agentic tools - what do y'all use?

So I feel old - I've been into audio DSP and writing algorithms, designing plugins for a long time, and I've always had a habit of doing a lot of the prototyping by hand (yes, with a pen and a notebook, I'm old I know), and then write code after around those wireframes. I've really not been up to date with how people have been using agentic tools to speed up their workflow - do y'll use any tools? If yes, which, and how does it speed up your workflow?
