E7 Pro support beam placement
Hey,
I am assembling my E7 Pro to the pre-owned tabletop, which has 85cm depth (and 150 width).
I would like as much leg clearance (with C shape support style) as possible.
I also have a heavy setup, with 3 monitors on 3 metal arms, docking station for laptop, speakers and power strip. All mounted at the very end of the desk.
Given that, It seems to be beneficial to mount the support beam as far away to the back as possible (as long as the legs would not stick out of the tabletop: ~5cm B,
~21cm A).
But is it really? How would it impact stability? Improve or worsen?
Should I mount it perfeclty in the center, so A and B measurements are equal, or can I push it far to the back, so my equipment will have better support, and I will have more leg room?
Previously I had 4 solid wooden legs with metal brackets mounted really wide, and the desk was so back heavy, that regardless I could tip it effortlesly pulling it up at the front.
