42 lbs gone

SW 250 CW 208 7 mg SD April 15
Weightloss has slowed down a little bit lately and I just needed something to keep me focused so decided to do a before and after montage and so happy with the results! I am tall so measurements go down slowly but I have gone from wearing 2x-3x clothes to mostly L and XL (depending on the brand) and I even have a couple of M blazers. It is a long journey but take thise pics, they may come in handy down thw road! I didn’t take one right at the start and I am probably 8 lbs lighter that my SW on that before one, now I wish I had one!

I hate walking but…

This page really helped me in June! I know I need to move more and walking is the easiest way for me to do it but I hate it with a passion lol I decided to make these squares (1 sq= 0,5 km) and it pushed me so much! Every color is a different day, it was so much fun to see it change and the fact that a sq was only 0,5 km made it easier for me to feel I was completing somethjng! My goal for July is 45 km!

La Bomba, give me the good, the bad and the ugly!

I fell in love with a La Bomba sampler, used it (was a small one) and could ‘t stop thinking about that scent… I went to the store a couple of times toying with the idea of buying the big bottle but at $200 CAN I don’t know!!! Do you guys have it? Is it amazing? I even ordered a dupe (Riffs Tahira) which I am still waiting for… but that OG is something special, I just don’t know if it is $200 special! I have over 100 bottles of perfumes but they are usually in the $30-50 range…
Help!!

Found a summer combo!

Fakkar was a favorite of mine during the winter but I found too heavy for summer… that is until I sprayed Yara OG on top! It brings a nice champagne sparkle to it and makes it perfect for the warmer months! I just love these surprising combos!

How to wear a leopard print blazer?

I thrifted this leopard print blazer that gits like a glove. It is long (mid thighs) and since I am tall I really live the fit. It is slim, ling sleeves that I can push back and no button. The fit is really fantastic and I would live yo wear it at work in a classy business way but at 51 I am afraid of looking like a cougar! I am looking for layering ideas that would give this fantastic blazer a classy spin and not look cheap! Picture for an idea of the print but mine is longer

Mourning your old body?

Before I start I want to say that I have lost 35 lbs since April 15th (starting weight 250 at 5’8”) and I am happy I am losing… my shape has changed a lot and at 51 I am getting an older version of a slimmer body… not the one I had in my youth. That of course is totally normal but the fact that I lost so much so quickly makes me look twice at pictures and when I walk in front of a mirror. While I am happy to lose weight I feel I am missing the old me a little, the me I’ve known for at least 30 years… am I being silly or did other people go through that as well?

Finally found a way to wear Angham!

I have been puzzled by my lack of interest in Angham since I bought it in February… the scent got a little better with time but I had zero interest in this blind buy… I could barely smell the vanilla in it and the lavender was non existant (and I love vanilla lavender scents). Last week I found this Vanilla Bean & Lavender EDP at Marshalls and this morning I thought why not putting them together and… Bang! The Vanilla Bean pushed the complexity of Angham forward and the result is beautiful! Will definitely reach out for it more often nos!

My wardrobe capsule

I am transitionning my wardrobe after getting my color assessment done. I decided to track my purchases so I don’t end up with duplicate pieces… sadly my color bled because I had to use cheaper markers for the right color but still happy with the result! Next page has my dresses, jackets and blazers… wondering if others have their closet included in their bujo? Would love to see the layouts!
Ps the different shapes for tank tops and shirts are for the different collars…

My perfume style is definitely gourmand, fruity, solar… a girly girl if I can say! But I just bought these two masculine type of fragrance and I am loving them! Anyone else is sometimes surprised by their own purchase?
