Halloween party theme

My boyfriend and I (F) (both 30) got invited to a Halloween party that's theme theatre. Now the host is a big theatre buff but we are not lol we're not too sure what to wear and want to go as basic as possible but still on theme! Not too sure where to even start such as what kind of theatre genre we would do? Could use some ideas please! :)

My 50 something coworker talks in a baby voice

We got a new coworker and she's great, quick, catches mistakes etc, the only issue is sometimes she'll end up talking to you in a baby voice. Such as "oh mamas" or in Spanish she'll say something but in such a high pitched voice as if you're speaking to a 1 year old or even a dog tbh.

She does it deliberately when she's talking to all our coworkers who are either older, younger or significantly younger than her. I'm not the only one who has noticed either but it's become so bothersome. We're all grown adults 28+, so we just shouldn't be talked to in a baby voice.

I'm not sure how to address it to her & my boss is the biggest chicken, non-confrontational person so he's useless to go to lol. I also don't want to go to HR because I just feel like it's going to change the dynamic of our office which is fairly chill. So help me out how I can stop this! I cringe every time and she's across from my office so it doesn't help, lol.

How much are we paying for box braids?

Hi ladies! How much are we all paying for box braids? Shmedium knotless usually. My old braider charges me $150-$200 but braids too tight and causes me to lose a lot of hair. I'm looking at a new braider and it's steep, $385. Just wondering what everyone else is paying.

Convention center events manager?

Hi all! Been in the hotel industry for 10 years now, been a sales manager for a little over a year now and growing tired of hotels. Kind of considering the convention center events manager position.

I currently do room blocks and corporate meetings on a smaller scale of 50 people and less. I'm sure going to a convention center will be a whole different ballgame, but wanted to get others perspective on it. How is it planning and executing conventions?
