Looking to fund R&D for novel textile recycling process

Seeking my first investor, into supporting me doing R&D for a novel textile process.
I would love to onboard a scientific advisor on some comp + equity basis, get a custom prototype manufactured, and lease lab space in order to conduct all necessary experiments, to see its potential scale-up.

Happy to chat.
I will be targeting polyester-cotton dense textiles.

Looking to export ethnic wear and textiles to Oman. Need Advice.

Hello,
I have a textile manufacturing business in India. I manufacture indian ethnic wear (regional designs, and traditional artisanship) and higher quality viscose fabrics suitable for ethnic wear and woven garments.
Middle East has some overlap in terms of culture, and I would love to see if theres a way I could directly setup a buyer network in Oman. I am happy to see if I could tune in my factory to replicate more cultural middle eastern designs.
I am licensed to export and have the compliances.

I have had my products sold in UAE in the past through brokers. But Oman definitely has been on my mind for sometime now.
Would love to understand the nature of the textile industry here, and see if theres a room for business, and or its saturated for the most bit.

Happy to chat.

Textile waste to insulation materials, looking for its application to insulation industry.

Been trying to dabble in turning textile waste into something more valuable.
Someone recommended insulation materials. Still thinking if this is a space with growth or is it saturated.
Any ideas on how polyester, cotton, viscose based fabrics, could be used for insulation.
Is this a market with any space ?

Working on lab scale experiments for textile recycling chemically, what to keep in mind to scale this up ?

|Hello,
So I am an early stage innovator in the space of textile recycling. Trying to take cotton to cellulose for viscose material, and depolymerise polyester.
My questions:
chemical recycling (what I do as well), is expensive than mechanical recycling and virgin textile material, so far as data from some recyclers in Europe shows.
I am still tinkering lab process for it, but if I wanted to turn this into something larger and real, what would be the right steps, and things to keep in mind ?

Idk how they are being sold, if they are more expensive, but where I live, no one will pay a dime more no matter how environment friendly it is. I need to see if this is a worthwhile endevour. Is there any material where I could read and understand more, what to even do in order to know this R&D is worth the effort, because I am confused atm, if it will be commercially viable later or not.

I only draw examples from those doing it in europe, but the data is less, and due to EU being good on environmental regulations (could be the standalone on why these firms havent gone out of business), but I still need to learn and understand more.

Looking for guidance: polymers and hydrothermal conditions.

Hello,
I am working on a side project, that I would love to make something bigger one day. Right now a lot of it is chemistry specific stuff, and I haven't had a chance to work in a lab in the past so much.
Looking to talk to people who have experience and understanding of high pressure, hight temp reactions, supercritical gases, and take some guidance on my project.

It's in the space of polymer recycling.
Would love to take to learned people. Any books and material recommendations are also welcome.

Its something to do with textile recycling.

My experience with India vs US investors building a novel deep-tech startup

I was nervous walking into both rooms, but here is what I felt. The US based fund ( a really big deal for me) were super kind, understood I may be nervous, made me open up, the whole convo was around science, and they had done research. Their questions were targeted and focused. They were encouraging, giving feedback, even sent me a email later of apple's first prototype, and asked me to do whatever I could in its easiest form.
That was something that stays and created impact for me even today, when I think of it.

The indians, a lot of egoistic uncles, no questions, besides money. Even in asking only money, they only wanted to compare how cheaper are you compared to europeans. They were rude, intimidating, prolly thought they were some kind of james bond.
the whole meeting felt like they were more interested in pulling you down, no real questions on core philosophy, while the americans genuinely wanted to know things, and asked those kind of questions.

I believe Indian investors have a long way to go with their mindset.
Indians come across as - know it all, rude, intimidating, trying to put you down.

U.S investors - acting like a friend, easygoing, easing my pressure and nervousness, helping me tell my story better and getting to the root ideas, rather than put a wall in front of me.

Does this mindset get Indian investors far ? Are we that desperate, that we deserve to be treated like s**t just because we are seeking investments ? offcourse only applies to the indian context.

Its just something I have observed, and no self respecting person should take investments from people of such nature.

Is Gmail reading each and every email I get ?

I see a gemini suggestion option everytime, I get an email.
I got an email from someone today, and gemini suggested a response based on the last email I had with the person months ago, not even on the same email thread.
I thought it just gives suggested replies based on the emails I get, but its being linking emailer history, and what not, and giving replies.
Should I be worried ? Is this just a tool or is all the email data and its summary being recorded ?

Does anyone know how to avail grant/funding resources in Germany for international innovators ?

I am currently working on developing something in the textile recycling space. The science I am going by, has no equipment in my country. A custom manufacturer asked me USD 60k to make the equipment.
Germany has a lot of research institutions with many having a lot of equipment that would really help me conduct more experiments and further my research, and maybe develop something novel.
I dont know how to go about it, I have heard they have programs supporting international founders/researchers, but can anyone tell me/guide me more about this ?

Looking to find climate funds, accelerators who can push my novel recycling tech

I am currently working in recycling fast fashion waste and textile recycling with proprietary tech.

The country I am from has no equipment to conduct experiments, at least with the science I plan to do it with. The most I have conducted is some separation experiments, and got my thesis reviewed by researchers in the space, who said its possible experimentally at scale.

the only option is to create the equipment myself to conduct further experiments, and one manufacturer in my country asked for 60k USD. I cannot afford it, but I really want to pursue this.

Looking for any programs, and tips/advices from NA or EU where they can support me to continue this. I dont know where to begin, but from what I keep reading they have several orgs that support new ideas helping climate change.

Any help and advice is much appreciated.
