I know this is a bike Ottawa group but every license plate in the parking lot was Ontario. Trail 1 near Camp Fortune parkway there is a momma black bear with cubs near the trail. She was bluff charging hikers so be careful!
This morning I am not sure what is going on but she has been doing this for about 20 mins so far. Someone is in a good mood today!
Waffle was having way too much fun last night
Took my old race bike and gave it a modern facelift, new to me tubeless rims, new 1x12 groupset, new dropper and new brakes. I took it for it's first ride in a decade and it handled great! I am happy to give this old girl a new life again.
Waffle had her butt cleaned today. In the past she would hide for a day but she is getting much more accustomed to it now and no longer hides. She did pee on me not long after to show her dissatisfaction with being manhandled 😂.
Our daughter is in town with her dog and Waffle is tired of being locked in the basement when she is here so she is armoured up and ready for battle!

We have always allowed Waffle to free roam for about 16 hours per day but lately she has been showing frustration with being locked up at night (she is 2 years old now). We decided to let her free roam at night and I think she is happy (this is downstairs in the basement in the middle of the night, upstairs is her main area buty she loves this part of the house because of the full carpet).
Waffle has been a bit standoffish the last few days after going for a nail trim. She thinks she is hiding currently 😏
