Lee Meehan trio live at Scott's Jazz club

Lee Meehan is a Dublin-based jazz/blues guitarist and vocalist who has been a dynamic force on Ireland's music scene for over 20 years. A Newpark Music Centre/DCU graduate, he has shared stages with top Irish and international artists at major venues and festivals, including Sligo Jazz, Cork Jazz, and Electric Picnic, Vicar st, The Olympia. His acclaimed 2023 debut album, Some Of Us Are Looking At The Stars, blends soulful originals with a fresh take on Tadd Dameron's "On a Misty Night," featuring an all-star Irish lineup. English saxophonist Aaron Liddard at Scott's Jazz club mixed classics from Cole Porter to Miles Davis to Airto Moreira with choices originals from his critically acclaimed debut album Nylon Man.

After a ten-year stint in Manchester, Liddard spent twenty years in the London session scene, working for Amy Winehouse, Bob Geldof and Beverley Knight, and performing with Prince, and Maceo Parker. In 2022 Aaron released his debut album, Nylon Man to critical acclaim, including the front cover of the legendary Blues and Soul Magazine.
