Are these materials ok for soil and cap?

20 gal long,

I hear pea gravel works just as well if not better then coarse sand, (some forum posts and youtube videos) obviously i want the best i can get, and some fun texture variation.

So i was thinking soil then pea gravel and sand not exactly mixed but placed together, unless mixing is fine? not sure exactly how much aquascaping i can do in a tank like this.

My concern is anything they might put in the gravel or sand as i am not familiar.

I'm more worried about finding the right soil, i see scotts premium topsoil mentioned a lot, but it says it adds sphagnum moss and peat and i thought those were a no go.

Using Miracle gro organic outdoor potting mix feels iffy, using miracle grow anything really, and i read to go for topsoil rather then potting.

I'm conflicted so i figured i'd ask the experts here... all products listed below as images

How much of the new halloween decor is ai generated?

Went to tractor supply for some stuff but don't go often, mainly cat stuff.

I understand like any brand nowadays they are doing the ai thing, and so i assume anything at all will be ai generated images, specifically the new halloween themed items. It's not a SUPER obvious case, and some images are consistent between themselves, so i figured i'd ask.

Spotted at a kia repair store

Pretty typical but disheartening nonetheless... betta, thought of this subreddit instantly

Attempt using fosshape and have some questions

since there's not alot of resources on fosshape fursuits in particular, the ones i am latching on to are very interesting. My goal in my eventual fursuit is very small slim and lightweight so that it blends in with my body as nicely as possible, also with the goal of being semi realistic in style.

If anyone has any ideas i'd love to hear it,

i will be following FeralFacades video closely, will be making a base shape to mold the material to.

Since foss can be sewn, i was wondering mainly if it would be a better idea to make a pattern off the mold like one would typically when furring their head, but instead use foss and sew it together before hardening it? or would overlay work better? has anyone tried this?

wondering if detail of the head shape would be far better sewn then if i just laid it on and heated it.

and would layering fosshape inside the head create a stronger still breathable form? from the video i'm watching my understanding is that certain furs will end up weighing down the material a bit, feralfacades uses free form air epoxy for the strength, if remembering right, since it is only applied in the nose bridge.

Obviously a little on the pricey end and wanted to see out alternatives before buying that particular item.

First time questions

Hi all, I am interested in owning a millipede for the first time,

specifically a tree milipede! Spotted Black Leg White Tree Millipede, Anadenobolus arboreus gundlachi.

They grow to be 3.5 to 4.5 inches aprox.

I have some questions.

Need to find a tank that not only balances deep substrate space and tall climbing space, and that also looks nice I guess.

What does everyone think of 10+ gallon upright crested gecko conversion kits?

Feel like that will be my best bet. I'd like if it looked nice to, but obviously that's just an afterthought.

If not, hexagonal aquariums, or tall round tanks to get a good climbing space if I can get a nice big wood piece for a centerpiece or back.

Having multiple, not sure if I would buy more than one millipede, due to the different sizing considerations, and I'm mainly worried about people not sexing them correctly and then having to deal with babies.

How do you keep up with your flake soil every day for a month+ ?

Would it be reasonable to put it in my office next to my plants/grow lights?

It's gets pretty warm in there and it's consistent until winter hits.

Does it mess it up if you miss a stir day?

Grow lights, how are we doing those in this enclosure since it will have to be bioactive.

I am worried of frying of the poor thing, I know I should have a wet and dry side, put it on the dry side? Get a really tiny dim one?

Thanks for reading!

Help finding original painting

Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit for this. If the lighting is bad I will retake them, just let me know.

Stumbled upon these and bought them, they are beautiful, and I originally thought they were painted originals.

As I got them I realized it was a cut out of a printed paper image, plastered on thick wood and sealed. It has those ink spots you see on textbooks and magazines.

A little disappointing, but it's still a painting that came from somewhere before it was cut out. And it does look pretty nice.

I've searched multiple reverse image search engines but some reason I cannot find anything. A magazine print can't be that hard to find, I feel like I'm not looking in the right places?

The curiosity is killing me to at least know where these guys come from.

No signatures anywhere.

Shipped by a seller on Ebay from Calhoun, Tennessee.
